I met a friend for lunch, She recommended Kiran Palace. Great food!!! Enjoyable Ambiance, Friendly staff. The food was so good, I went back with another friend two days later. And just this week I took my Mom. She had never been to an Indian restaurant. She Loved it so much she can’t wait to go back.

The food here is pretty good. The service is slow, though, and the owner lady isn’t very nice. Besides ours, only two other tables were occupied by small parties. Our 3 soups took a very long time to bring out, and the Naan bread appetizer we ordered took more time to bring out than the main course, which also took a while. We also brought a bottle of wine with us because we were celebrating my birthday. The owner lady told us that because they have their own wines, we can order one of theirs but cannot drink the one we brought. I asked her if they have any semi-sweet red wines, because that’s what we like to drink. She said that they only have two red wines, and both are dry. So this was already upsetting and I told her that we didn’t want the dry wines. Ten minutes after that she came out and told me that if we paid her $10, she’d let us drink our own wine. I opted to have a glass with my family at home rather than lining her pockets with money for my own wine. So, the food is good, but the service is making me reconsider being a patron at this place.

Excellent Indian. One of the best around really. I’ve had a little better in Hicksville, but this place is above and beyond most. The curried goat is my favorite here. They lost a star for their Lassie drinks. I found them to be significantly worse than any other I’ve had. Other than that, the place is great.

Very good food – far better than most indian restaurants in Hicksville. They have an excellent navrattan korma ( not a generic vegetables drenched in tomato sauce deal like many restaurants) and a very traditional black dal. We are vegetarians so did not try the proteins – but we liked what we saw being served to others. Definitely will return here rather than do the usual Godavari or Diwan routine on weekends.

This place is absolutely awesome, where else can you go bring a date and both be full for 20 dollars not many places that don’t have a drive thru. This place ceases to amaze me with the offerings and the quality of their lunch buffets for 9 bucks you will be stuffed and the also offer a desserts daily with your buffet and that’s how you spell it desserts got it good , now if you like Indian food stop wasting your time and go try this place today.The staff is absolutely charming as well.

The food here is good but the staff isn’t very friendly, pretty rude! I will never understand why these people do deals with groupon and then get a damn attitude every time you go to use the groupon it makes no sense! If you’re losing money from it then cancel the damn deal! It’s not my fault nor is it my problem if you have a deal with groupon that isn’t bringing you money so don’t take it out on me! The woman actually started an argument with me when I went to pick up my food today because I ordered it with the beyond menu app which they also chose to do a partnership with once again not my damn problem if they charge you for that service so don’t tell me I can’t use my groupon because they charge you money for online order! So rude believe me I will not be going back there! thank God it was the last of my 3 groupons! The food is not worth the nasty attitude, I’ll find another Indian restaurant!!
