Legit. I have a hard time eating out sometimes because I feel like I can cook better food. Not here. I ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and devoured it. $8.95 you gotta be kidding me, unbelievable price. Fries and cornbread were excellent as well. 2 of us ate for $22 but I would gladly have paid more. I’ll certainly be coming back next I visit my son at OU. Nice work Kiser’s.

Finally got to come go to their new restaurant! We have been waiting for years for them to open back up. Fantastic place. It was so much better than when it was in the mall. You can tell there was some thinking when they set up the building. First thing we always notice is wheelchair accessibility and they have an amazing ramp into their restaurant. Outdoor seating is nice, and there is plenty of seating inside and out.

I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken and sat outside to eat, so my dogs could sit with me. The chicken was absolutely delicious. It was juicy, smoky and fresh. My husband ordered his chicken with the sauce on the side, so I was able to taste the chicken with and without the sauce and it was delicious both ways! The Nashville hot chicken sauce was flavorful and spicy and the whole meal came with a piece of white bread, pickles and pickled onions.

THIS PLACE HAS SUCH GOOD SMOKED FOODS! I’ve never had brisket that melted in my mouth as I ate it. With the sauce as well being delicious. I’ve had the macaroni with pork, the Chicago beef sandwich, and a shredded pork sandwich. All tasted sooo good. It made me wanna dance. That’s how good it was. I definitely will be back to try a milkshake and the loaded fries. I’m excited to be back! Please get the food truck up on Court Street on Friday, Saturday nights!

Ordered the pulled pork sandwich with fries and cornmeal biscuits on the side. Food tasted fantastic and they have a lot of different sauce options which is appreciated. The biscuits especially were really good and are definitely something I’ll order again.

Loved the food, and everyone was smiling, helpful, and pleasant. I will definitely be eating here again. I understand the dining room layout, but it’s not a place designed to hang out and visit with your family or friends. This location is new and may change in the future, but right now, it is just a bit bare walls. If I had not been waiting for this barbecue place to open, I might not have known it was there. In my opinion, bigger and better State Street side signage/promotion is needed to draw more diners.

Excellent brisket, sausage and pork! The rest of the meats are more than likely just as good but I didn’t have room to try them. Maybe next time! The service was outstanding and fast! Highly recommend the blueberry waffle cone milkshake! See y’all next time I’m down this way!
