Great food and service. It was our first time trying it and we will be back. The chef is one of the owners and you can taste the love he puts in the food. The food is so flavorful! Our server was also very sweet and one of the owners as well! Highly recommend the mango salad, stuffed peppers, and elote. They were all fantastic! Looking forward to trying more in the future.

Had a wonderful first experience! Came to this place on a school field trip and the food was amazing. I had the pork cheek pasta and the meat was soft and tender while the green pasta had a tasty cream cheese like filling. Delish! Customer service was great, staffs would come in and check up on us from time to time and refill our drinks which was very much appreciated. The owner and his staff were warm and welcoming and we had a cool insight of what goes on behind the counter. And of course we couldn’t forget to save room for dessert which was simply delightful. Overall, the place has a cozy atmosphere. I would recommend checking it out. Thank you for giving us a great time. Only minor thing is that I got a stomach ache a few hours later, but was it worth it? Definitely lol.

Went in for restaurant week so not sure what items, if any, are on their regular menu but everything I had was good. The elote was great. The tres leches cake was phenomenal. I liked the black bean empanada but I do feel like it was missing something. Maybe not cheesy enough? Either way still good and I’d eat there again

Really glad I tried this gem, the food is very tastefully done, the Cook has great skill and really cares about presentation, quality of food is well above average and will be coming here regularly. Duck is phenomenal and the Burger meat was killer.

Truly a diamond in the rough up in Hillyard. We tried the grilled chihuahua cheese and elote to start and they were both incredible; and a unique twist on elote that I won’t spoil. For mains, we had the daily special, the prawn paella, and the confit duck carnitas and all of them were excellent. It was refreshing to get a more contemporary take on this cuisine and we’ll be back to explore more of the menu.

The El Cubano will take you on a journey. The texture, the flavors are soo good that you won’t be able to stop thinking about this dish until you enjoy it once again. My date ordered the burger but ate it so fast they forgot to share. They said it was incredible.

Best Restaurant in Spokane! First time we have ordered 5 dishes to share and every dish was outstanding! Everyone’s favorite was the pork cheek pasta! We also loved the ceviche, tamales, duck, and octopus patella! You have to try this place! Amazing job chefs! We loved everything about this place!
