This is an old school grill, vintage Americana. I don’t know if it’s the best gyro I’ve ever had but I definitely haven’t had better. Pita was perfect, a little crispy to the edge, warm & chewy. The meat wasn’t rushed on the grill, thoroughly cooked. The secret is the homemade tzatziki sauce. Definitely the best I’ve had, and I’m kicking myself for not getting extra for the fries (crispy crinkle cut). On top off all that the lady at the register could not be nicer.

VERY expensive, VERY small helpings, food taste below average. When they brought out the gyro I said no I ordered a gyro thinking it was hot dog.. this wasn’t even the Jr gyro either! Anyway small fry, hot dog sized gyro, and a soft drink 16.00 prices! and yes most all have an extra charge for something to drink too. 60 dollars for 2 gyro meals and a gryo plate.. spend that money at a nice restaurant.

It’s kind of disappointing, but either the cook was having a bad day or they just recently started changing the food and condiments and what not but it has not been tasting good and I’ve been go there since I was a kid. They are nice people great with kids. They seem like they care about their community but the food quality is not consistent. Just disappointed.

If you find yourself in the Orland Park area, and are looking for a place to eat, I highly recommend Kismet of Orland Park on 151st just west of LaGrange. The restaurant is a small burger joint situated in a mini mall. Whether you eat in or take an order to go, I highly recommend choosing Kismet over a lot of other places in the area.

Went there for the first time a couple weeks ago. Had the mushroom burger and it was delicious and quite filling. Went back soon after and had the Gyro, and was very satisfied with that. The hot dogs are very good also….oh and the service is amazing.
