I read that this place was one of very few places that offered a gluten free biscuit in Nashville. I thought it would be a sin to come home biscuit-less after a trip there, so I grabbed one to go before I left the airport. Service was friendly and fast. I didn’t eat the biscuit right away, so it may have been better fresh. It was a little dense than I hoped for, but in GF baking, it has come to be expected. Overall, it was a solid biscuit and I was satisfied.

We went to Kitchen Notes for Sunday Brunch and it was very good! A good selection of food, everything from fruit, yogurt, and oatmeal, to eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes and a several types of biscuits with either gravy or multiple choices of jam and honey. Everything was presented nicely and was fresh and hot. The atmosphere of the restaurant is chic kitchen farm to table. Elegantly decorated and plenty of room for all guests. We enjoyed our food and we will be back!

Lovely gluten free breakfast for the two of us. Food came out minutes after we ordered it. Yogurt was a little plain but the honey was enough to even it out. Great quality fruit!

The biscuit provides by the restaurant is so damn good I can eat at least 5 of them and I’m not a person who like biscuit because I find them dry and heavy but the biscuit here is moist and fluffy. The food at the restaurant is on the salty side and they come on a big portion so be prepare to have leftovers

Kitchen Notes is on the first floor of the Omni Hotel. Parking is valet only at $60/day but Kitchen Notes will validate your parking ticket. Brunch at $30/person was excellent and all you can eat. The selection of eggs, Pancakes, biscuits, fresh fruit and sausage gravy was superb in flavor. The house hot sauce added just the right touch even if it was $12/bottle for purchase. I highly recommend this restaurant.

My server, Cheryl, was amazing, attentive, and so sweet. I got the smokehouse breakfast bowl which had a lot more prime ribs chunks than you would think and the dish had awesome flavor. The biscuits were small and cute but melted in my mouth and the sausage gravy was great. Oh my carafe of mimosas was the way to start Saturday morning vacation.

Had breakfast, buffet. Service was great! Sorry tasting food, did not care for it very much. Their buffet was cold. Food on it looks very good. But I didn’t care for its taste. Great pancakes and waffles .Drinks are included with your buffet. Free valet parking. Just make sure you let them know you need a sticker on your valet receipt card. Place is very clean. And the nicest restrooms ever. I would give it a five star if their buffet was hot and that food on it tasted better. Again it looks very good. But tasted really bad. Glad I ordered pancakes and waffles.

Reopen review. Food quality and service severely lacking. The website says make a reservation, but when you call they say they aren’t taking reservations. No buffet. Significantly reduced menu. Portions are small, prices are exorbitant. Quality and flavor on par with a Denny’s at 2am. Understaffed. Waiter had at least six tables. Never checked on us after dropping off food. Went to pay and was never asked about experience or food. Eventually spoke with a manager, he said it’s only their 3rd day open. Otherwise he didn’t care. Was going to wait until I got home to write review, but have been waiting 20+ minutes for my car. Seriously, don’t waste your time and money.

Food was very good! Service was okay. Had to go get our own plates to share an appetizer because nobody was around.

This was my first time at Kitchen Notes and first time inside the beautiful Omni Nashville Hotel. I was awestruck by the decor and cozy environment. It was not difficult to locate the restaurant, it’s visible as you come into the main entrance. I was seated quickly and waited no time to be greeted by a server with a full water decanter and a smile. I only came for one reason and so I ordered immediately. I asked about portion size and was told one order consisted of 5 pieces, so I ordered two because I was starving and my gut told me I was going to LOVE these, I regret nothing. I did love them, I savored every bite from start to finish. They have a delightfully satisfying crunch as you bite down, quickly followed by a flavor of buffalo sauce with a very mild heat level and fall apart in your mouth chicken, finishing with a pop of sweet honey that will make a smile spread across your face involuntarily. I dipped a few times in the herbed buttermilk sauce, but mostly ate them without any sauce. Not that the sauce wasn’t good, it just didn’t suit me because it seemed to overpower the rangoon more than I prefer. You should definitely have a few bites sauce free. Even the pickles weren’t safe, bread & butter in case you were wondering.
