My favorite “hole in the wall” mom and pop shop for the delicious cuisine of Bulghogi the may be misspelled but it is on point with the taste buds and don’t forget to get you the soup and oriental fries and if ur American standards foodie the burgers are a top of the town hit as well. Love this place! 34-year customer.

This was a tough rating, but I’ll say first everyone I encountered was friendly. I got the spicy pork, chicken bulgogi, and the oriental fries. The fries to me, missed the mark. You get a lot for the price, but they lacked seasoning. The main dishes come with a small salad, soup, and fried rice. I will say all the sides were generous and it wasn’t just basic miso soup, which was nice. However for $15 per dish, you don’t get a lot of meat and I didn’t see the value.

This was my first trip to Kitok. This is a small dining room but bright and fun. I tried the Oriental fries…delicious! I ordered the Sweet and Sour Pork. It was different than any other I’ve eaten. There was a broth that I mixed with my fried rice. This entres also came with potato soup and a salad…

The food was delicious and the portions were large enough for 2 people to share. The service was a little lacking. My wife’s food did not arrive until I was done with my food, might have been the cooks fault, or they might have dropped it in the kitchen. The oriental fries were delicious potato strings with broccoli and onions fried up. I would try this place again.

A little dive type place not on the main roads. Which is good because the place is popular and has good food.

Went for lunch. They used to be know for their hamburgers and oriental fries. The service was very slow. I had to get out menus and it took forever for our order to be taken. The hamburger was not near as good as it used to be. I was very disappointed. The oriental fries were great though.

This Korean restaurant is a hidden gem in Waco. 47 years of esteemed history behind their diverse and reasonably priced menu keeps their customers coming back. I love their Oriental fries, and their Bulgogi burger is a great lunch for the same price you would spend at McDonald’s, but this is real food with real flavor and some of the kindest staff I’ve ever met preparing it.

Hole in the wall, local. That’s what we always look for & found here. The kimche is amazing. The beef & pork bulgolgi is so, so good. I’m glad I opted for full sized. I wasn’t as impressed with the oriental fries as everyone raved…but they were good dipped in the soy sauce provided. It comes with a mayo? based dressing salad & a chicken soup appetizer. If we return to Waco, we will be back.

I cannot believe I didn’t know about this place! I randomly found it while getting lost driving. I’m so glad I stopped in! The food was amazing! I hope to come back soon and try the burgers and oriental fries everyone raves about!
