Wow. Talk about endurance. This place has seen a world war and the computer age. Powered through a pandemic and keeps going. Knapps has been serving up home style goodness since 1938! Glad to see the survive and thrive. It’s a place where you can get a big breakfast or fabulous lunch. Good size portions in this era of rising food cost. Still a good value for the whole family. If you’re a little thirsty they also have an adjacent bar for adult beverages. Give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Went to Knapp’s and loved it! Great diner-style food with large portions. We got the Cali-Omelette, Original Benedict, Fish and Chips and Monster Omelette. It was all delicious! Our server was great as well. We will come back to try more.

Knapp’s has gone downhill. I ate there today expecting more food than I should eat as has been the case there for more than 25 years. Had corned beef hash. It was less than half the plate with more extra hash browns on the side than hash. Very little corned beef in the hash, though what little there was was moist and tasty. Hash browns were overdone, eggs were perfect, but a side order of grease was left on the plate. I’ve added a photo, but you may not be able to tell. Toast was limp. Didn’t finish it. Left hungry.

Adorable, classy diner with an old family, familiar vibe staffed with extremely nice people! The owners, a husband and wife, were both very kind and the wife paints beautiful critters onto little mancala stones which are placed around the restaurant for kids to find. My daughter loved it! She found 4 little critter stones and happily showed them off to everyone all day long!

This has been our family diner for well over thirty years. Staff has changed over the years, but always friendly. We can count on good food and quick service. Our grandkids like the food and the atmosphere is comfortable. Restrooms clean, have hot water and paper towels (which I prefer to air dryer.)

From the moment I walked in, no more than a minute and a half past when I was Welcome by Lynn. Her customer service was so welcoming and warm, me and my whole family felt at home. The wait for our drinks and meals was quicker That I’ve seen since the pandemic started. The food quality and temperature was perfect, and enjoyed every single bite of it. I highly recommend for families to come sit and dine at this restaurant. They have designated room for the bigger parties visiting the restaurant. And as a bonus, the music selection was perfect.

Went here with a group and everyone was happy. I had some biscuits and gravy, which as far as American food goes I treat the way Agent Sands treats puerco pibil in Once Upon a Time in Mexico (minus the murder). I have it all over the place and this was definitely above average. Gravy had a lot of meat in it to the point where my usual side of patty sausage was almost redundant.

First time eating at this restaurant today. The food was delicious and served in generously sized portions. Omelet was perfectly cooked with fresh ingredients. Yum! Service improved as the meal went along AND we let our server know it was our first visit.
