We just stumbled upon this place while driving south. Their pizzas are absolutely phenomenal. This is take-out only so we were slightly disappointed that our seating options were limited to outdoors. That wasn’t a big deal for us, the pizza was still absolutely delicious. Great wine options available! Did not expect them to sell freshly made cookies, this was hands down the best cookie I’ve ever had. I’m actually kind of glad that this location is a bit far from us because I would have been a weekly customer, haha. Great customer service, welcomed by a cute dog!

The pizza is the best one I have had in the whole DMV area, even better than some of the OG thin crust brick oven pizza places in NYC and New Heaven. Ingredients are fresh, light and very flavorful. Juicy but not greasy. The dough is thin and puffy at the same time, however very soft in the mouth.

The wife and I ordered pizza on our last night in Middleburg just to have something to eat. Well we accidentally stumbled onto the single best meal we had for the entire trip. These unassuming pizzas outclassed the food at every single winery and brewery we’d been to, in addition to the prior night’s dinner from King Street Oyster Bar and breakfast at Market Salamander (which was absolutely terrible to be fair).

We found this place while driving around the middleburg area. We only ordered the cheese pizza because of my kids, but boy, its the best cheese pizza we had. My 5 year old said “its really good, its better than regular pizza” (they are used to papa johns pizza)

Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. Great selection of wines – a wall of $20 bottles and a wall of $45 bottles. Friendly and helpful people. Just wish I lived nearby. Great spot!

I was walking by and was drawn in by the sign that declared that the establishment was master somm owned. The owner was not there but the manager was a wine expert and was a delight to talk with about wine. The wine selection was fantastic especially considering that this is a small establishment. All wines in the store are carefully selected and not ones you would commonly find at most retailers. I couldn’t help myself and with the help of the manager I bought half a dozen bottles to take home with me. Each and every bottle we have opened has been wonderful. I can’t wait for my next trip to Middleburg, VA so that I can buy more wine from Knead wine and next time I will be sure and try the pizza.

In a world of fake accounts posting 1 or 2 reviews to artificially boost a business, I wanted to throw my *authentic* 2 cents in. This place is great. I was so happy that Middleburg finally has a pizza place!!!. And the pizza is amazing. i am hooked on the King pizza with truffle. we add truffle oil at home and its insane. My kids love the pizza here, too. We order online about once a month and get 4 or 5 pizzas to takeaway with friends or family. The wine selection is interesting and I’ve found a few new favorites. Thanks for coming to Middleburg!!

Simple concept that is very well done. This might be one of the smallest pizza joints I have ever visited. It has just several racks of nice wine, a register, and a pizza oven cooking delicious food. We ordered a Trucks and a Hendrix. Both were great but the Hendrix was my favorite. The size is about a personal pizza portion. It’s a little pricey but that seems to be fitting of the area which is beautiful. I will definitely be back to try some other toppings. The cutest dog was manning the front door too.

Recommend the SVR! Great people, great energy. Pizza has high quality ingredients, smart flavor combinations. Crust gets a little chewy if not eaten almost immediately in case your used to the big chain style crusts but thats how hand tossed dough works.
