Oh…my…gosh. I literally just left and said I need to do a review ASAP… the place was so good! The T-bone steak was so good and the sides and fried onions rings. It was big enough to feed 2-3. I ate it by myself. Its priced so well, I def wouldn’t mind paying more if they upped the price. That’s how good it was. The drinks were STRONG and good. I can’t wait to come back when I visit New York again. I would pick this place over any other place for a good steak. When I come back I’m definitely trying other things on the menu so I can try everything! It’s worth it! Also I would like to say The staff was excellent, from the hostess to the waiter to the bar tender! Love everything about this place!

I went here for a couple drinks and sat at the bar. Everyone was super friendly… the host, the bartender (Hazel) and the other patrons. It was a great atmosphere and I felt really welcomed there. Definitely going to get dinner there next time, everything smelled delicious. Highly recommend.

The entire staff was great! The food leaves little for your teeth to do any work. Very tender and juicy meats. I highly recommend if you enjoy a great steak and low key feel atmosphere.

I had a beer and the other person with me had water. After trying to order another beer, the bartender told us to leave if the other person with me didn’t order a drink. I have never heard of that in my life. So because other people want to sit, we get kicked off the bar? I was a paying customer and the other person with me didn’t drink. It was discriminatory. If you’re not over 65 years old and don’t look wealthy, don’t go.

wow where do i start we moved into the nearby neighborhood at the beginning of Covid and as it turns out the Knickerbocker has become our favorite go to restaurant when we dine out. in the fast changing world of dining out …the Knickerbocker continues to deliver outstanding service, amazing food (we had the striped bass special last night which was PHENOMENAL) and finally a big thank you to John who greets us every time we walk in the front door with the most genuine, warm and friendly greeting you could ever expect
