My cheesestake took me back to the authentic experience I had when I visited Philadelphia a few years back.

I feel like everyone has given up halfway through a drive for food at least once or twice due to traffic. If not, nice! Today was crazy, no parking anywhere, Roswell Rd backed up as usual, and my husband and I were getting really hungry at that point. Suddenly we see this little shop off to our right and we high-tail it in to Knuckies Hoagies. Walking in, we were greeted by ALL staff with smiles and hello’s, genuinely welcomed! Both the gentlemen and wonderful lady on shift were beautiful inside and out, chatting with us about our options and giving us great suggestions, and the most impactful conversation I’ve ever had at any dining establishment, fast food to fine dining. After ordering the Cheesesteaks, one SUPER spicy (first place to ever give me the mouth-pain ive been searching for) and one original, we’ve never had a better sandwich. When someone says “made with love” you have a certain expectation of quality and care, these people, my god they went above and beyond what it means to make something with love. They were passionate about us as customers, and showed the same respect and love to our food. Not to mention, the most reasonable prices I’ve seen in quite a long time. The two of us ate a massive and beautifully satisfying meal for under $30 with full size sandwiches with all the fixings, drinks, and chips.

First time trying the Knuckie. For $12, it’s shy some meat and cheese. Also, the bread is like hot dog buns. I prefer Publix or Subway even Jimmy Johns. The sandwich was tasty but overpriced. I will go elsewhere.

The nastiest person I have ever dealt with. The employee was awesome! The owner literally cussed. I will not ever give this business my money again. I will also take the time to let every person I speak with no about my experience. Which might not sound like a big deal. But will be. Ma’am you know who you are. You should be very careful who you disrespect. Your being a business owner does not make you above treating people with respect. I cannot imagine what you do to your employees if you do this to a customer.

WARNING: just left knuckle’s after my very first visit. Some guy came inside while I was waiting for my order and said he was going to boot my car The lot was empty and this is a Monday night at 7:45. I was the only customer in the store. I would have left if I hadn’t already paid.

The staff here were very nice and friendly. They were great! The food was just eh. The bread is so soft and gets soggy as you’re eating the sandwich (wet bread is gross). We tried the Knuckie, it lacked flavor. We also tried The Italian, and the filling was tasty, but made the bread soggy. The bread tastes like a cheap hot dog bun, it’s super soft and basic. Not good. The banana pudding was the best part of the meal. Disappointing that the food wasn’t better, we were excited to try it. We won’t be going back.

Tried Knuckies out being in the area. Great management and friendly staff! Just not sure if the lack of choice toppings, style of bread and meats is going to be competitive? Publix subs are far superior and amazingly cheaper with Boars Head Meats. It’s just a good value.

This place truly has the best customer service and the sweetest, most welcoming employees I have ever met! Cathy took my order and treated me with so much respect and hospitality. And may I just say, they have the most delicious cheese steak sub I have ever tried – and it was freshly made! I recommend for everyone to give this place a try. 10/10

Wow I’m very upset how I went into the store and over heard a customer using racist slurs towards and employee who was as calm and the sweetest she could be. That’s not right at all when they there to do their job and get harassed because the guy was having a bad day. Bad day or not that doesn’t give no one the right to be an racist.

I wanted to like this place because it’s so close, but it didn’t quite work for me.
