Well, this was the last time we’ll eat at Kobe. Used to be good, but apparently not anymore. Such small portion sizes of protein now, what a major disappointment. Steak was dry and tough too. Clearly something is going on there that’s affecting the quality.

i come to kobe grill at least 3 times a month. it is my favorite hibachi spot in greensboro. prices with the portion sizes are great. since i am a regular customer here, i have fallen victim to some accidents that happened. one day i was eating my food to find a foreign object in my plate. it felt like a piece of brillo pad. i’m assuming this happened when they were cleaning the grill and didn’t notice it. i know it was an accident so i brushed it off and kept coming. then a couple weeks later, while eating my food i found a LONG piece of hair. at this point i’m kinda annoyed because this isn’t the first time i found something in my food. please be more careful in the kitchen. luckily doordash refunded me but i haven’t been back since. accidents happen but this isn’t the first time.

My first and last time here. I am also new to the area and decided to give this place a try as my first pick for hibachi in Greensboro. I highly do not recommend. I have over 5 years of management experience in restaurant business. sadly, this was by far horrible management. There were over 15 customers waiting for their food. The lady in the front was kind but not attentive at all to the customers in line. It was unorganized and a few actually had their money refunded as I was waiting for 30 min. I’m sorry my first experience here will most definitely be my last.

Lunch special is easily the best in town, supreme bang for your buck! Food is prepared on the spot so always fresh and hot off the grill! I had the shrimp and zucchini lunch special and it was perfect!

The food was good once he cooked it how I asked and not how he wanted. I ordered the filet mignon cooked medium, and he cooked it well done and tried to tell me it was medium. I disagreed because I could clearly see it was cooked well. He then asked to me to taste it, which I did and the meat was very much well done like I said. So he remade it and everything was great.

We ordered from Kobe Grill for the first AND last time tonight. My wife ordered us the hibachi filet mignon. Well, I can definitely say we paid for something we didn’t get. It was not filet mignon!! It was also overcooked and chewy like rubber. Very disappointed!!!

The guy taking orders had excellent customer service. It was slow and still took me almost a hour to get my order(for one person). The cook had gloves on, which I was thinking that is good. After I got my food I noticed the cook goes out the back door with his gloves on comes in and heads to the bathroom with the gloves on, comes out with the gloves on and continues cooking. I will say I did hear the hand dryer before he came out, I assumed he washed his gloves while they were still on his hands. To customers seeing that is just nasty and not sanitary. I ordered a egg roll and the nice guy taking orders goes back without washing his hands and takes out the egg rolls from the cooler without gloves and drops them in the fryer. They have a very good location and I see they do great business but they need the health department to come in and give them training on how to properly handle food. Going outside and to the bathroom with the same gloves regardless rather he washed his hands or not with the gloves on is just not sanitary. Proper training would be good for this place.On one post u said find a place that has food ready under 15 minutes. MR.KIRIN always has my order ready within 15 minutes or less with a packed dining room and Togo orders. Very fresh. And very clean. All I am saying is your restaurant needs extra training.

Very good food and service. The staff is very friendly and they deliver! The only thing is the price. They are a little more expensive than other Japanese takeout. Overall this is an excellent option for a good hot meal that comes directly to you.
