We enjoyed our experience at Kobe. The service was very good and our waiter took very good care of us while we celebrated my wife’s birthday. Our chef was funny and entertaining.

Love this place. Fantastic food cooked right before you and served with flair and personality. Make a reservation as they are busy. They managed to squeeze us in on a stormy night, and we felt blessed.

Great hibachi. Chef was entertaining and interactive. Kobe steak special was great. A whole NY strip 12-16 oz so it was a large portion. Flavoring was mediocre though. Garlic fried rice was a bit too much garlic. Bar drinks were strong and good.

Chill vibe in a long running teppan yaki restaurant (over 35 years at the time of this writing).

Miso soup was delicious, and sushi was great! The food felt really fresh! not a very diverse menu, but everything we ordered was delicious! I would definitelly recommend the sushi bar here!

Despite having a reservation, we had to wait over 30min until our table was ready. Tables are no very clean. Our chef was friendly gentleman and but the show was less average. The shrimp was really delicious but the beef was not seasoned at all and lacking any flavor. Fried rice was good. Needless to say our kids enjoyed their first Japanese grill experience but not so much the flavors.

Solid experience! Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the chefs grilling up you meal in front of you was fun and entertaining. Beautiful surroundings in Lahaina, take a stroll along Front Street for the experience. (We had reservations but the Sushi bar is 1st come 1st served and may have been even a better experience. Will come back to check it out ourselves )

Always good for tappanyaki, a family favorite for over 20 years. Nothing fancy just good food for a fair price. Old school atmosphere. Friendly staff and the chefs are sure to entertain with their onion volcano and knife skills.

The chef was not skilled at all. He kept talking to us and cracking jokes without paying too much attention to cooking the food. The food is all salty. And the steak is overcooked. We asked for medium rare. He almost gave us all well done meat. Very disappointing. And I will not recommend anyone to go there or to face that chef again.
