Who doesn’t like hibachi? Steak and chicken.. or shrimp …. The rice is delicious and the atmosphere was great! … If you don’t want to sit in front of the hot grill and get hibachi you can sit at a normal table and order all kinds of delicious food! … I would recommend the heavenly snow crab roll if it’s your first time trying sushi! It’s sooooooooo good! 🙂 …. If you go at lunch you can save about 10 a person… Dinner is more expensive but still so delicious ! And no matter what way you slice it it’s cheaper than ohanna’s and with the same quality! 🙂

Last night I ate here after an event with my fiancé and some friends. With many good options to choose from along Milwaukee, we were wanting something like Kobe that would be Asian food and potentially hibachi. The customer service from the waiters and the cooks was very good. With much friendliness and charisma, the night was definitely much better having gone to eat there. I personally had the Shrimp Hibachi that was accompanied by house salad and delicious onion soup and Jalapeño Bomb for appetizer. Overall, I had a fun time and will definitely have to eat their again but instead try the great variety of sushi they have on the menu.

We came here on a Monday night for a birthday celebration with friends. They made us wait until our whole party arrived until they sat us which was a little annoying but, not a really big deal, I guess they didn’t mind our kids banging on that drum…

Haven’t been to an hibachi restaurant in awhile cause I feel if you’ve gone to one, you’ve gone to them all, but decided to give Kobe a try being a foodie. The atmosphere is really nice and clean like most Japanese and Chinese restaurants, you could choose to do HIBACHI, none or bar. The wait time in the hibachi wasn’t that bad, took about 10mins for our station to fill up which wasn’t that bad it being on a wensday at 6 it wasn’t very many people at first but it slowly started filling up pretty quickly, by the time we were getting our food cooked, 3 other stations had already filled up. WARNING!! YOU MOST LIKELY WILL HAFTO WAIT A BIT FOR A YIUR STATION TO FILL UP OF ITD NOT TOO BUSY. IT’S NOT THE END OF THE WORLD. The atmosphere is nice and comfortable with visuals and plenty of natural sunlight. The menu is pretty clear cut with the added full menu of Kobe beef and Wagyu options. I didn’t dip my feet in this menu, but I definitely will next time. The food, rice and vegetables were awsome everything tasted really well and our cook did a great job. Overall I had a great experience the chicken, steak, shrimp and scallops are all really good, so whatver you choose you can’t go wrong, the ginger apple sauce that goes with their salads is a flavor bomb warning its really good. Definitely will be back and recommend this place. The price point is a bit expensive as most hibachi but you most definitely will get filled up. Most importantly, the bathrooms are clean.. Didn’t try the sushi but will next time with the Kobe.

This Restaurant was spectacular all around. The atmosphere is very welcoming as well as the staff. The portion of food was perfect and Sushi was Beautiful with taste to match. The bartenders were very attentive. Overall, I’d recommend to anyone looking for an amazing lunch/dinner for family or date night. 10/10

The service was excellent, and it’s a very nice place. Sadly, the food didn’t match in quality. We started with wonderful Crab Rangoon (terrible sauce served with it, but the crab mixture was amazing, and the wontons perfectly cooked). We then had a bland spicy tuna roll, a mediocre California roll, mushy pot stickers, and shrimp & steak fried rice that just made us sad. The meal wasn’t awful overall, but we won’t go back. There are too many great restaurants in Lubbock.

10/10 food and atmosphere! The sushi is the absolute best in town and I’m VERY picky about my sushi but I heard their sushi chef has worked in 40 different sushi restaurants and I could immediately tell that it’s better than anywhere else in Lubbock. The hibachi is absolutely amazing. The servers and chefs were great at entertaining our table and the portion size was actually really big. Would absolutely recommend coming here for hibachi compared to all the other places. This place is nice and new and definitely the best in town.

If I could give zero stars based on today’s experience I would. Normally kobe is a wonderful place to eat . Not today . We always have the hibachi experience and today the cook Messed up our order . We told him that he only cooked half our order and figured he would finish cooking the rest of our meal that we were missing but shockingly he couldn’t have cared less . He cleaned his grill and rushed away quickly . Decided to talk to our waiter about the issue , his reply was oh ,well, I’m sorry , are yal good ? Seriously? I replied to him , no were not good. He then to walked away . At this point I had asked for a manager to explain to her what had happened and when she was talking to me she then tried to tell me that it was our fault! That I should have stated clearly to the waiter and chef …(which I did ) (twice). that’s when I got upset and told her exactly what was said. I gave her a play by play of how I said our orders ,how the chef came and repeated the orders and how I even told him how both of our orders were supposed to be and he said he understood. The manager then apologized but seriously do NOT accuse your customers of being at fault for employees mistakes. She did offer for them to cook my food in the back but by that time everyone had finsihed their lunch and we had already spent a good amount of time there and needed to continue with our day. We paid for 1 plate seeing how I didn’t get the food that WASNT cooked for me . Horrible experience here and manager didn’t handle it the right way at all.
