Haven’t been here in over four years, and I guess that this time around, the service has declined a bit. The service was ok, great looking, and well-kept’s bathrooms. Now, as far as the food be warned that the chile sauces are hotter than the other restaurants, but they won’t tell you, so be aware. The first picture depicted my nieces mother. She was so hungry that she ate maybe a quarter of her plate, but she couldn’t stand the heat of the chile. They didn’t care. We paid full price for what she couldn’t eat at all, and we certainly were not going to take it home… it would end up in the trash. I had the carne adobada, and it was good, my niece had the burnt cheese tacos she enjoyed them, but not the posole too bland. Take a chance if you like scorching hot tasting food. Happy eating, everyone.

Been here a few times to see if anything changed. The food is good, but between their service and atmosphere don’t see the value. Maybe if they actually hired staff (and got staff that was trained well) it would be great. There seems to be one good waitress during evening.

We ordered nacho supreme the cheese was disgusting had absolutely no taste. Our meals which we all three ordered a different plate were not any good at all. The red chili was burnt tasted awful, the green chili tasted bitter. Not a great experience not even a good one. I do not recommend this place to any one.

July 28, 3023 Best Food in Las Vegas. There I said it. Cant beat the Red Chile, Tacos, Salsa and Enchiladas. Being raised by my grandparents in Las Vegas as a kid/teenager/young adult, Kocina has been consistent and some of the best New Mexican food period! Keep up the great work.

Ordered Nachos Supreme – the first clue this wasn’t going to be good food, they used canned nacho cheese sauce. Second clue, was the samples of red and green chili we received. Red Chile was thick, overdone with cumin and tasted burnt. The green chili was watery and lacked flavor. I ordered a main course, frito pie, hoping it would better. It wasn’t. Came with 3 family members – each did not eat their meals – a stuffed sopapilla, which had the burnt red chili, a pork quesadilla – which was served open, flat, with just melted cheese and pork. Not good. Surprisingly, only an apology was given and still charged for food we did not eat. Poor service, and worse food.

We ran across this place while on vacation. It doesn’t look like much on the outside but the food was fantastic. My wife and I ordered and they brought 3 plates of food. All she ordered was a burrito but the burrito was as big as the plate! Waaaay too much food but it was so good we ate it all. Paying took a little longer than expected but only because the cashier was running doing other jobs. It was a busy place. I highly recommend this place. We will definitely be returning.

Bring your own drink, you’ll never get the waitress to come back after dropping your plate in front of you. Yes, she sees you waiving, but she is too busy to be bothered by her tables. Busy is no excuse for rude service. Food is great, too bad we won’t be able to return. Being ignored for an hour and a half while being attacked by flies is just not my cup of tea. If I could give zero stars, I would. And $15 is a little much for a burger and fries.

This place is fantastic. Asked someone off the street where the best place to grab a bite to eat in town was and they just pointed at this spot. Got the Rellano and my wife got the shrimp fajitas. Both were killer. Definitely stop in if you’ve got the time

It would be best to call ahead and order. I drive up and waited half an hour for my fajitas order. The food was good for Las Vegas restaurants. I do like that they were not stingy with the sour cream and guacamole. It was pretty pricy for what I got: 17.33 for just food no drinks or extras.
