First time diners to Koi. We were not disappointed. From the service to food we were very happy with our experience. We chose the dinning room over the hibachi tables for an intimate meal. We ordered appetizers, main meals and received a complimentary dessert as a birthday surprise. The sushi was freshly prepared, the menu offering a wide variety of dishes. The shrimp and steak hibachi dish was full of flavor and deliciously tender. It was an all round wonderful meal and will definitely return. The only negative is the drinks are a little watered down.

This is a Japanese grill that offers a personalized dining experience. Diners who wish are seated around an open grill and are entertained as the chef juggles his utensils and prepares the guests food orders. The items are cooked one at a time and served one at a time to all guests seated around his grill. The food is prepared according to the personal taste and request of each guest. The food is delicious and the staff are professional and friendly. Advanced reservations are recommended.

Way too good. Came here for a date with my husband and the food is beyond delicious. The place is nice, has cute decorations. Staff is very friendly and they even sing happy birthday with a drum and music.

Ive been going here for awhile now and here in the last year it seems to have been going down hill. Tonight it was absolutely awful, The ranch tasted rancid, the rice tasted like it only had a hint of soy, I guess they used up all the seasoning in the chicken broth soup because that sure had salt in it. The proteins I had were good tho so that’s a plus. I really loved this place but I believe it’s time to find another hibachi spot. Hopefully sometime in the future I can come again and be able to change this review.

Smells like a wet rag as soon as you walk in. Yum yum sauce had a watery consistency. The soup tasted like straight broth and they didn’t even have some items listed on their menu. Sushi was mid. Definitely won’t be returning

Hibachi Chefs are very entertaining! Kids love to see the little tricks they do. Food is cooked with lots of butter and flavor. You have choices between spicy or not, rare or well done, etc. Lunch is affordable through the week; however it is a little pricier on the weekends. Food is always full of flavor and cooked to perfection every time we’ve been. Service is great!! My daughter goes so much, they joke around with her, which makes our dining experience more enjoyable. We love Koi!!

Honestly this was some of the best tasting hibachi food we have ever had! Everything was very flavorful & perfectly cooked. I had the filet mignon medium rare and shrimp—yum yum! Drinks were all reasonably priced. I’d rate the ‘show’ portion as missing the mark. Our chef was decent and did a few tricks, but we were missing the sake shots squeezed from afar. All in all, a very nice dining experience for Gallatin. We’ll definitely be back!

Fairly cheaper hibachi during lunch hours. We paid 40 bucks for 2 people. The only issue I have with the place is that they use the same utensils for raw food as they do cooked food. I find that super unsanitary because of the food handlers’ laws. We also asked for med rare steaks and it was a cross between med rare and well done, but other than that, great service and great atmosphere.

Very irritated with the restaurant. My child had an allergic reaction to something they cooked. We had expressed the allergy before sitting down to eat and they ensured us that everything was safe. Then in the middle of dinner our child had a reaction and they refused to fully release their Ingredient list and said their “secret sauce” was private.
