I went to the new Koji on the day they opened, had amazing service and food! I decided to eat inside to check it out, really cool vibe and awesome mural that represents the boro well! The owner was even inside and greeted me as I came in, made me feel better to support a local business!

Been going to Koji regularly and was happy to see they put a new one on the North Side of town, the food has always been good, today I stopped by for takeout supper,I ordered the teriyaki steak, and got my wife a side order of Rice and Carrots. As I started to leave I checked my order and noticed there was only one Koji Sauce in the bag. I asked the young lady at the counter for an extra sauce. She ask if there was one in the bag and I said yes, she then informed me I would have to buy one for a dollar, no big deal normally. I would have paid and went on, but today I had used my card and did not have any cash on me and I was not going to run my card for a dollar, especially after spending right at 30 dollars for a meal and two extra sides and tip.

My wife and I had the teriyaki chicken and the the hibachi chicken. The chicken in both dishes was dry and tough. The only items in our meals that had any kind of flavor was the carrots. Save your time and money and find someplace else for your meal.
