Yesterday was my third trip to Koji and instead of my hopes of my experience getting better I will never set foot in this establishment again…. but I doubt I will have the opportunity to do so because I don’t foresee this business staying open much longer.

First off this place is a rip off!! Do not go there unless you dont mind your groupon not being honored. We arrived at the resturant after almost an hour drive just to be told we will have to only order from the sushi menu or selected dinner menu. With two kids we could not do any kids menu or even any appetizers! ! The hostess had a nonchalant attitude which I was told was the supervisor and did not resolve the groupon issue. When we finally sit at the table our surrounding guest also mentioned the Groupon not being honored. It was atleast 6 total of other groupon guest with complaints of the Groupon. One family also had kids that had to do an adult dinner. We had a female waitress who barely came around untill it was time for our bill which I took upon myself to have a young tall white male I believe his name was j.c. to help with refills, to go boxes etc.. His service and the chef yo… Something was OUTSTANDING!!! The server was very attentive and one of the best I’ve had in years!! If you do decide to go he would be the one I recommend!! Management needs to take more control with issues of their customers!! Will never return!!! Wish that server and cook was at a different resturant because I would to have their service again. The food was ok Just pricey but for the other issues sho guns will be the best!!!

I Have eaten Here probably 5 Times. I really like the convenience and how close it is to me. It is a Different experience. The first 2 times we went, The Food was fantastic, The Servers were on the ball and we had a great time. the last 3 times we have gone down. It has gotten worse and worse. I Purchased a Groupon Yesterday to take my wife out to dinner. The deal was $18 for $30 worth of food. When I got there The Server asked if We were using a groupon right away, I told Him Yes we were. He then Immediately to me that In order to use it, you HAVE to order at least 2 Hibachi Meals. Me and My wife normally just share one and order an extra Soup and Salad. I was a little confused because NOWHERE on Groupon Did it state this. I said alright Well I guess we don’t have a choice. As the Meal went on, The service got worse and worse and worse. The server asked if I needed a refill as my drink had been empty for quite a while. I said yes please, and never saw the drink. after he had been back and forth 3 times, I finally asked if I could have that refill, the said sure then walked back to the table without the drink. I then asked again and he went and got it. During the entire meal, all of our plates that we were done with had to be stacked up in between me and my wife as no one would take them.

Lets Go Brandon “Advance”
This place would have been 5 stars had I ordered chicken and shrimp jerky. The “chef” had both of those items on the teppan for at least 45 minutes. On the plus side, I got to read the entire War and Peace novel on my smart phone while waiting for the show to begin!
