Don’t get me wrong, it’s a nice place. The food was good, cheap and good portions. The beer was cold, the service friendly. I was in town 1 night for an event, but if I lived there, it would be my go-to bar. That said, the decor needs brightened up, in my opinion.

We went there tonight after my daughters softball tournament and I just can’t say enough good things about Kendra, Ray, Dan and Don who all took such wonderful care of us. We came in with a party of 40 and we’re so welcoming and accommodating and all of the food was dynamite. Thank you all so much!

Wednesday is burger night. Cheeseburger deluxe and thick looked hand cut fries for $6. We love a good burger and got all the condiments including vinegar without asking. There is a patio bar and you can get food there but it was a little hot and sunny so we choose the rathskellar (inside area). Local friendly place owned and run by local family attentive service, great onion rings and my husband liked their schnitzel special when they have it. Most of the specials are great and reasonably priced. Love the pizza, reuben and philly sandwiches too. Decor is very sports oriented as this place is located on golfcourse so you get that comfy but not fancy decor…other specials other nights ribs, prime rib (monday), tacos (tuesdays), burgers (wednesday).

Think bar food! Prices seemed decent, and everything was edible! Homemade fries were a plus! I had the jalapeno burger and it was 2 patties with jalapenos and cheese in-between. Wasn’t bad, but also wasn’t a juicy thick burger. The steamed shrimp were really good! Overall I think it’s a cool little bar and everyone seemed pretty nice.
