Always appreciate going to komodo because they have lovely staff & the best ramen & apps in Denton. Their cocktails are always a win as well. We always go for the spicy hamachi, it’s served a little differently each time we’ve gone, but always the star of the show for us. We tried the smoky pork ramen this time & it was very good, but we both still prefer the tonkatsu. The sushi roll pictured is our fav because it’s spicy, I think it’s the dragon roll? Can’t remember the name. Their spicy relish is amazing, get it on the side with your ramen

We stopped in Valentine’s night as first time visitors. We ended up sitting at the bar because it was so crowded but still had the best dining experience. The food & service were out of this world! The bartender, China I believe was her name was super busy yet remained attentive. What impressed me the most out of the whole evening was the OWNER though. He was met with one of his waitresses & some fake looking ID’S, he was talking to the side of the bar with his employee when the ID holder angrily came up to confront him. It was more than obvious these were fake ID’S but the owner held his composure, remained polite & was a man of integrity. Many thumbs up Mr Komono!!! Your actions & attitude won you lifelong customers. ❤️

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would! Everything was AMAZING. We got the fried chicken bao, killa kimchi totchos, yellowtail belly nigiri, teriyaki salmon fried rice bowl, & tempura sopapilla cheesecake. All of them were 10/10. Could not recommend this place more. You are missing out if you don’t go! It’s also a lot of food for a lower price than we expected for the awesome quality of the food.
