Only been here 2 times but I’ve liked it both times. Very affordable and good portions. The menu confuses me slightly but I think that’s more my personal problem. I was able to just say I wanted the spicy chicken with rice and macaroni salad and that’s what they got me. AND it came with a slice of pineapple which was really refreshing. Definitely worth trying them out. Even if you don’t end up liking it, it’s not very expensive and they get you your food pretty quick. Take a chance! Try something new!

I called my order in ahead of time, and asked for the spicy chicken sauce to be put on the pork plate. They said no problem. Picked up my food and brought it home. Was disappointed to find a small thimble of sauce in all 4 of the dinners I ordered. There was barely enough sauce to glaze the meat with. I haven’t been there in about a year, and last time I was there the meat was drenched in the the sauce already. So if the tiny thimble is a new thing I am disappointed. If not and it was a mixup I hope it only happens that one time. I love all their food they make, and this time was no exception everything tasted great. I just wish there was more sauce for the meat.

Came in with my son, it was dead at the time, the lady was extremely friendly and got the food up and done in no time. Always a great experience here. Food was amazing and had enough left over for lunch next day.

The food here is solid though nothing stand out. With the pricing and location it was designed to be a regular work lunch stop of mine due to Thurston’s meager/mediocre food options. I don’t feel I can make this the case anymore as they don’t pick up their phone when it gets closer to closing and I showed 15 minutes before close only to see that it’s closed. If they don’t want orders (which they fill very fast, a plus here) after a certain time, they should just close at that time.

Take out only, their bbq is dry and noodles taste like they have been sitting in a warmer the whole day. Nothing is made to order, the bbq I understand but the noodles don’t take that long. Pineapple fried rice is salty and okay a bit too sweet for me.

Have been eating here for years, maybe different management? Used to be ono kau kau, but this time not so much. Asked for little bit of cabbage under my kalua pork, you spread it all over my take out! Not so cool with my potato mac. The chicken was dry, burnt and not very tasty. And I like rice, but not as the main dish, cut back a little, and give me the meats!

The food is delicious and never disappoints! We used to prefer another Island Grill in Eugene but Konas pork is to die for and the chicken and extremely tasty. They have become our go to place for take out.

Been here couple times and really enjoy thier food. However this last time I visited the rib has a strange taste like if it was going bad. Everything else was great!
