We showed up right before closing time. Nothing was fresh… all the food tasted reheated and recycled. The veggies in the pork soup were definitely broccoli beef in another life. Also, the chicken breast on my wife’s plate was all skin.. what a waste on money! I’m sure these guys can make good food, just don’t show up at closing time

Stopped by on a Monday for lunch. Food was freshly prepared and good portion. The family that operates the restaurant can’t be nicer. Give it a try if you want a quick and hearty meal.

Delicious food at a good price! I was looking for something for lunch that wasn’t touristy and still filled me up. This was amazing. I wish I had time on my trip to come back and try more. Between my husband and I, we got the Spam Musubi, the BBQ plate, and the Honey Walnut Shrimp.

2022 Updated Review: it turns out that only their small containers are compostable. If you order a plate, it will be part of the plastics that are overwhelming Hawaii’s landfills. Also, suspiciously, after ordering from here, hours later my credit card information was stolen.

Small, whole in the wall, L&L Jr. type restaurant. Girl was really helpful, hardworking and busy. Business is lucky to have her. Nice menu, not bad prices. Had a quick snack. You get what you pay for but still worth your time and money for a quick bite.

Sure wasn’t bad! My friends and I stopped in as we did our laundry in the same shopping center. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger combo, it hit the spot for sure. My friends got the mahi-mahi, a gravy burger, and garlic shrimp. They all loved their meals! The only complaint we ALL had was that all our meals were served in styrofoam. That’s terrible for Mother Earth. We ate in the dining room, could our meals have been served on plates?? I say yes. It was a great burger though. It was fun listening to the man who took our order shout in a microphone to a person directly in front of him.
