Ordered the chicken shish kebab tonight it was so good and they give you a lot of food. I will definitely go back to this place in the future.

The lamb kenob was well done and hard like rocks, the gyro was equally dry , the salad was made with cheap semi ripe tomatoes and the lentil soup was poorly spiced and too creamy. This piece of garbage restaurant should be thrown off door dash and bulldozed into the parking lot. I threw my whole dish out, spent $100 dollars on it. The rice pudding was old with a skin over it. I want to vomit.

Our favorite Turkish spot on Long Island !!!! Service is great, portions are generous family atmosphere.

I’m happy that I walked into this little restaurant randomly (I was shopping next door at the little Portuguese market)… This is a little, seemingly family-owned-type Turkish restaurant/mini-market. The staff was attentive and helpful and the food was delicious. The little market area (just a few shelving units) had some really interesting items as well. I tried out a black olive paste/spread and it was fantastic. Something we’ll get often. So, for me, this is a great little neighborhood restaurant with delicious food and helpful staff.

One of the best Turkish spots in Long Island. Food has always been good never had a bad experience. My favorite is the mixed grill and the meal 100% fills you up. Other favorites of mine are the lentil soup, lamachun, and their chicken, the lamb and the beef. My go to is always the mixed grill with the couscous rice and the sauce it’s a good combination. The competition is fierce between angora, Konak, and Istanbul cafe. They all definitely use the same recipes. Their chicken, lamb and beef is always fresh and full of flavor and it’s not too chewy. But however they need to hire more staff because the service is very slow and they always take 45 minutes to an hour to make the food. Overall this place never disappoints and it’ll 100% fill you up. I suggest that you come hear and give them a try. Even though the food is very pricey it’s still worth it. Best part is that this restaurant is really close to my house. I could be coming here a lot but I don’t because of how expensive the food is. I recommend this place to my friends. And I give this place a 10/10.
