Cute little Thai place. Only street parking which can be tough. Very nice staff. Got the Pad Thai with Chicken medium heat. Spice was perfect. There were no carrots or sprouts like most pad Thai dishes, but I’m fine with that. If I had to say anything negative, the Thai iced tea was a little less sweet than most I’ve had. Still, very delicious overall.

This is my favorite Thai place in Seattle I’ve tried. The food is always excellent with great flavor. I tend to order the Cashew Nut with Chicken (4* or 5*) and Pineapple Curry (5*) mostly. The spice level is legit and it’s one of the few places in Seattle where you can get some food with real heat. Everything tastes like it’s great quality ingredients. Parking for pickup is pretty easy too since they have a 3 min pickup spot right outside their door.

Great interior vibe. However, the food was disappointing. Uncooked potatoes in curry and tough meat. There were some improvements that could be made.

Amazing food, friendly staff and clean place. This is by far the best thai food i have had since I moved to Seattle. Do check their instagram for they don’t have everything on their menu. I had checked their insta pics and ordered the spicy seafood curry which looked amazing not only in insta pic but also tasted amazing(I didn’t see it in their menu, so i just asked them for it). Do make sure you know your spice level. I went with 2, which was medium spicy. It was a perfect spice level if you want a little bit of spice(for those asian tongues used to a lot of spices). Had to order Thai tea when in thai place which was just a ok unlike the rest of the food.

Koo Hoo is a local Thai restaurant that aims for the street Thai type food. They have a decent sized menu, portion sizes are about average and so are prices. Their food is delicious though, so much flavor. They have a good amount of seating inside but it can get busy quickly so we order take out a lot instead. The staff is so nice here, always so cheerful. Parking is tough here, especially when 15th has tow away times, so be careful when parking even when picking up l. Would highly recommend this for Thai food as one of the better ones in Seattle.

This location keeps changing ownership. I had the spicy eggplant with tofu, it was good. Not very spicy (ordered a 2). My friend ordered the spicy chicken dish. Her #2 was not spicy. She liked the chicken, the vegetables were super plain, no sauce on them at all. She basically ordered chicken with plain vegetables. Something to know for the future.

We were super excited when a (hopefully) legit Thai restaurant opened just a couple blocks from our house. Ballard has several great Thai options but there’s always room for another especially if it’s almost next door!

Best Thai food in Ballard! Very friendly family owned and cool atmosphere, Love the music and playlist! Red curry and bbq pork skewer and crispy chicken are to die for! Have them take your picture and put it on the wall, very cute for date spot and you can write something funny too. Low key best spot!
