I was craving Oxtails but I’m new to this area and didn’t know where to go. I don’t like dried out rice nor tough oxtails so I figured I’ll just try this spot out. Their Oxtails were super tender falling off the bone and the rice wasn’t dry! I was impressed and wanted to see if there food was always like this so I came back again two days later which was yesterday. And my GOD’ it taste the same!

Hidden gem the food is outstanding cooked to perfection we had the 3 meat platter goat, ox tail and curry chicken every meat was tender and delicious, stewed chicken platter was incredible, fried whole red snapper best I have had in a long while .Music is a plus waitress was friendly and great place is clean can’t wait to return

A lot of Jamaican spots are a hit or miss with many of them missing but this spot was a hit on my first visit yesterday. Thanks to the reviews we decided to grab dinner here and the food did not disappoint. Man this rice was perfect and the jerk chicken was just right. The brown stew chicken was tasty and the meat was very tender. Definitely will stop again next time I’m in New Haven.

I ordered oxtails and rice and peas. We intended on getting carryout, but decided to dine in instead (the carryout boxes on the table)..The food was delicious. The restaurant was clean, nicely decorated, and staff was very courteous. Upscale!
