I like it! It’s convenient, but I feel like you kind of pay the price for it. Eggs were $5.99 when I went in (5/25/23) , milk was about $4.49. There’s a good variety of international items, in my opinion!

Walked in to grab a to-go sandwich today and saw they were moldy. Not like a spot of mold on the bread, but big patches of blue mold on the cheese slides. The produce nearby was in rough shape, too. Not sure how often the food is being pulled and replaced.

The sandwiches are back! Great deli sandwiches at good prices, and apparently they’ll be filling up the deli cases soon as well. Big liquor selection as well. The grocery section is just fine. Definitely recommend it for a convenient lunch stop.

Even when the deli was tarped over, it was a great liquor store with a surprising variety of local (vegan!) baked goods, plus homemade samosas on Fridays, but now that it’s back, it’s a great liquor store where you can pick up a great, cheap sandwich in the back.

Check expiration dates very carefully at this store. A lot of expired/rotten food. Also, they will watch you like a hawk if you’re black. I’ve lived in the neighborhood for almost 2 decades. Shopped there long before current owners took over and I still feel like my every move is being watched. Unfortunately, it’s a couple blocks away and somewhat convenient when I need to pick up something quick.

This placed served me the single worst sandwich I had ever had in my life. Everything on the menu was out of stock, so I got my fourth choice sandwich. Then a kid, couldn’t have been older than 16, went into the back and proceeded to make what I could only describe as the most rotten tuna sandwich I have had the displeasure of eating. Had one bite and had to toss it. Stick to the prepackaged chips and snacks if you still feel so inclined to visit. The retro games were cool, still on the fence about the taxidermy on the walls

Deli closed on weekends. Cool vibe in the back by the deli where you can olay games and chill out on a couch while you wait. The deli is located within a large convenience store which is really basic and nothing to write home about. Apparently it’s a classic spot, but it seemed worn down nowadays.
