After having a less than ideal dining experience in the area, I had a much better experience at Korner Shop. My family came by on a Saturday evening at around 7, and it was fairly busy. However, service was exceptional throughout my entire time there.

Fun little area breakfast spot. Waitress, who may have also been an owner, was very attentive and a real spitfire with the locals, which was a welcome experience. Definitely stop in if you’re through. You’re sure to get the true WV small town experience

My husband and I are on vacation in WV. After a day of rock climbing, we were in search of a good meal. Korner Shop Cafe is straight out of Mayberry and completely charming. Every person (but us) that walked in the door was greeted by name. Several teenagers came in to order ice cream at the soda fountain bar. We ate a filling meal and delicious homemade ice cream and the total bill was under $30. If you want to feel a true Andy Griffith experience, stop here.
