I’m already apprehensive when traveling and trying to find kosher food along the way. However, tonight we stopped in on our trip back from Orlando to Miami. My kids were exhausted and hungry. The restaurant was conveniently located by either way of the turnpike or 95. We were waited on right away and the owner and waitress walked us through the menu. We ordered the salmon cake appetizer, which was tasty and moist and the cucumber slaw really complimented it well. Then we shared the meat platter. The steak was tender and flavorful, the pergiot was perfectly seasoned, and the kefte, although had a distinct cinnamon flavor, it was well liked by everyone even my husband who hates cinnamon enjoyed. The grilled veggies and sides were also a hit. My daughter ordered salmon, and again had a very nice fresh piece. Anyways, needless to say this is a great place whether you are local or stopping in for a quick bite, it’s very different from the typical shwarma places you find while traveling and we were pleased with our experience. This will be our new stop while traveling!

We had a nice lunch. Two good corned beef sandwiches, though a bit plain and dry; tasty celery seed coleslaw, and excellent, crunchy fries! Gluten-free was a bit hard, but turned out ok. Dressing on Israeli salad? Hmm.
