We love eating at Koto Japanese Steakhouse but DO NOT ORDER TAKEOUT. We ordered the chicken hibachi, for $25 this is a joke. The fried rice was not “fried” to say the least, there were no vegetables and it tasted like it was boiled in chicken stock. The chicken had no sauce and seemed to be quickly cooked in a pan, the shrimp was also not properly cleaned before being cooked. Overall very disappointing for the price point and compared to the meal you receive when you actually eat in the restaurant.

So good and so much fun! Went on a busy Saturday night, but they didn’t miss a beat. You can wait in the lobby or in your car as they will text you when your table is ready which is convenient and I love! There is also a fish tank in the waiting area to keep you busy for a little wait. They have a water feature wall that wasn’t working but I think they definitely should get working.

I love the experience of hibachi cooking. However the service was slow and our server was a bit aloof..like he couldn’t wait to get away from the table. Mind you there were 4 of us ladies over the age of 45. Our drink order was long waited. The room we were in was very warm and all of us were literally sweating. Our hibachi cook was ok and did a decent job of cooking and entertaining. He needs to practice on his aim into our mouths with the rice trick…he missed the first two times and the rest of us passed on allowing rice being thrown all over us. Our salads were delicious but were VERY small in portion…like a dipping bowl size. I think a manager should be making rounds to ensure all is going well. Lastly, for the money $$$, I believe it could have been a better experience.

To preface, we are foodies and recognize we have high standards. Our hibachi chef was entertaining but the rice was over seasoned while the meat and vegetables were under-seasoned. The shrimp and scallops were over cooked. We asked for rare steak and got more medium to medium rare. It was acceptable food but it wasn’t memorable. For the price I want it to be delicious. The chef also cut raw chicken and then immediately used the same knife to cut steak which he served us without all the sides getting seared so I hope we don’t end up with food poisoning. We also tried the sushi appetizer and all the fish tasted old. I would not order sushi here again. The atmosphere was average. The service was great but I’m not sure if we will return. I’ve had better.

The best Hibachi i’ve had. Just delicious…unfortunately i didn’t get pics of the food before we started eating and these were the plates when we were about finished. Huge portions, i had three meats; shrimp, scallops and steak this included generous portions of rice, noodles, salad, soup and vegetables. friendly and very entertaining cook. My medium well steak portion melted in my mouth…

i dined in with my family at the hibachi section of this restaurant , usually decent service with decent food. Recently, i overheard a conversation between 2 employees one im assuming is the manager of this establishment named Paul, he was talking VERY disrespectful to a young female employee, he was very in her space, and almost screaming at her for what seems to be like she is just doing her job , i have heard multiple instances in one dine in experience “ seating people incorrectly and walking up to customers while they are eating “ from what it seems like , these a very minor issues that can be resolved BEHIND CLOSED DOORS, this manager is VERY rude and has absolutely 0 consideration to customers and sounds like he does NOT care about how the employee feels in that certain situation , almost like he is actively trying to embarrass that poor girl. will most likely not dine here again

We went here when they opened to replace our old hibachi place, but now they have slipped—no more reservations for 4, higher pricing, and the staff not attentive. We have started going to Masa Sake Grill now, and they are less expensive, take reservations for 4 and are much more friendly and want the business.

This used to be one of my favorite places to go. However the service from the front desk is less than kind when bringing in children. Noodles had way too much pepper and then the chicken lacked any seasoning. Very disappointed we’ve gone a few times thinking it would get better, but unfortunately it hasn’t changed.
