I recently visited kotobuki and was pleasantly surprised by the authentic taste of the food. The dishes tasted like they were straight from Japan, and the sushi was especially impressive. The ambience of the restaurant was also very good, with a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.

Found this place to try out and it was awesome. Has appetizers, lunches, dinners, sushi rolls, sashimi, drinks, and deserts. Everything tasted so good. Definitely recommend and will visit again.

Excellent sushi, delicious entrees and some of the best soup/salad combos that Japanese cuisine has to offer in the area. Appetizer Tempura and Calamari were spot on as well. Never had a bad experience and even when we almost did they took care of us quickly! Always excited to come back here and try something new like their incredible Bibimbap, Fried Rice and Sukiyaki.

Ordered ramen for carry out but by the time I got home the noodles had already soaked up all of the broth, which is my favorite part, so I was bummed. I did not think that the ramen was that good for the price but that could be because it was basically noodles. I’m not sure if it’s possible to separate the broth from the noodles for carry out orders but that may help! I can’t speak for the rest of the food so I’d be open minded towards trying other menu options, but I probably wouldn’t order carry out ramen from here again.

My family has been coming here for 20 years. The food is excellent, with high-quality ingredients. The staff is welcoming and lovely. It’s one of our top-5 favorite restaurants in all of Toledo.

I absolutely love this sushi restaurant, I come here quite often. I got takeout this time! The staff is friendly and the one man he may be the owner or manager is super nice as well.

This is the spot for sushi in town. Many come close, but none can match. Could it be the quiet atmosphere? Or the many other authentic items? They help, but I’m telling you, Kotobuki is the benchmark for sushi and Japanese cuisine in general.

We frequently celebrate occasions large and small here. Tonight, we visited (for the 80th time or do) to celebrate a friend’s birthday (a party of 3), and our server helped us figure out which sake would be best for us. She was so helpful and genuine, and I can now highly recommend the sparkling sake. Thanks for another great time; we’ll see you soon!

My favorite place for sushi in Toledo. The Kotobuki bento box lunch is fantastic and I’ve never had sushi, sashimi or rolls I didn’t love. Great selection of Japanese drinks and wonderful desserts top it all off. Highly recommended.
