This is a restaurant I occasionally take friends and visitors to as it offers good, fresh food, pleasantly served and easily shared. They have options of a combination “boat” of multiple dishes that is easy for sharing with three or more persons. I also during Covid and to current day started calling in to go orders. I almost always order a takeout combination dinner with a California roll and Tonkatsu- a breaded pork cutlet. It is a lot of good and I can make two meals if it. If I call ahead it is usually ready in 15 minutes or so and the servers are very welcoming and friendly when I come to pick up my order.

Unexpectedly great! Stopped by for takeout after a trail run so we were sweaty and dirty but they sat us down with edamame, spicy tuna amuse bouche, and a Sapporo to enjoy while we waited for our order. We got multiple small items on the house to try with our food – like wow! Super friendly and accommodating. And the rolls were excellent and fresh too. Will be back

I spent YEARS saying to myself, “I need to try that place some day.” Well, someone reminded me about it and I did and it’s now my “go to” for my monthly food to go treat. I get the Vegetables Tempura and they come with soup, salad and rice at a reasonable price for today’s dining out. The people who work here are very nice and the restaurant is very clean and they package everything well.

This is a throwback for sure. Great sushi and the dishes are perfect. As a Japanese person who has had to endure a million average “Japanese” restaurants with sushi becoming mainstream this place is a pleasant surprise. Reminds me of those restaurants I used to go to when you couldn’t get a non Japanese person to eat sushi . From the Chicken Katsu to the Sukiyaki everything is good. Their service is friendly and portion sizes are solid. Highly recommended.
