The food was good & the employees were pleasant. My only issue was we spent just under 70 bucks for 2 meals,1 app & 2 different sushi rolls & 2 drinks. For the price we could have gone to a full service hibachi restaurant. I understand inflation has hit us all but that was insane. If you are doing dinner for one or just popping in for the lunch special…you good. Otherwise, spare your pockets

Wonderful food, best honey cooked carrots in Winston-Salem or Surrounding area. Now if you are like me and adventurous when it comes to food then you’ll soon run out of choices their menu is not that extensive but the choices they have will impress you. Not the most inviting come in sit down and take a load off restaurant by far, but the service, employee attitude, friendliness, and taste makes up for all that. So I will see you there.

On January 26,2023. Our party came to this location to purchase our dinner. The female who took our order seemed brash. Ww had to repeat our order several times to get it placed. When our party received the orders. The lady placed our meal on the counter and left the front line. After a few minutes we summoned from the rear and had personnel to confirm that waa our meal. We will use the Lotta grill at Fairlawn but not this location.

We were craving some sushi and happened upon this little hole in the wall. This was some of the best sushi we have had in a while. We also got the combination plate with steak, chicken and shrimp. It is rare to get that combo and the proteins be cooked correct. All the protiens ans vegetables were cooked to perfection! We will be back for sure

Fantastic hidden gem! Think Arigato does takeout. They cook the food fresh behind the counter not too greasy or salty just perfect! If you don’t have time to eat in grab a takeaway and treat yourself after work to not cooking! White seafood sauce is fantastic as well. My daughter and I split the Kotta Special Serve for two and had plenty of leftovers for another meal each for next day’s lunch. Enjoy!

Restaurant was clean, staff was courteous and food was prepared quickly. My only issue is that the scallops are imitation. If you say scallops and they are imitation then they are not scallops. Scallops are NOT perfectly round and all the same size. They are also not super fishy tasting and tough. I asked the cook if they were real and he said yes and I said well they don’t look or taste like it. He said this company we get scallops from sends the whole big scallop and made like a large rectangle shape to demonstrate with his hands. Apparently he doesn’t know what a scallop looks like. I’m pretty sure I just ate skate meat or stingray maybe. Anyway do NoT order scallops. Everything else was very good.

I’ve never dined in but this is definitely my favorite take out Japanese restaurants. I’ve only eaten the hibachi chicken with fried rice but it is really good. The prices are reasonable and the service is quick. They have a points/rewards program that you set up with your phone number or email address, no cards needed. And I love that you can receive your receipts via paper, email, text or not at all. I will definitely go back and I would refer a friend.
