This place always hits the spot for late night eats. We came here after the bars and ordered Katsu Chicken Curry and Chicken Karage. Been coming here for more than. 20 years and the place always feels like an authentic Japanese experience. The food is always good. The waiters are always pleasant, attentive and friendly. I especially like watching the Navia Robotics cat (robot) waiter delivering the food. A nice touch if you want desserts, there are plenty of options with in the area to choose from.

Their Tenshin Chahan Ankake is very tasty, with a ton of wok hei and nice flavor. Nothing is overwhelming or too much, just right! It is one of my favorite fried rice in LA.

I got a mabo tofu don and it was pretty good. However, my husband waited forever for his food and they seemed to forgot 1 of our orders. He got a chasiudon and it was so so, too sweet.

Back when I used to work in Little Tokyo, I took notice of the restaurant’s window display that had a variety of authentic food I had yet to try. It greatly astounded my taste buds by the fresh quality of ingredients.

This Japanese diner has in business forever, and I can see why! They have a very deep menu with Japanese and Asian-fusion dishes. Service is good and the booths are comfy and clean. The food is tasty and reasonably priced. Overall, this Little Tokyo mainstay is great for a quick lunch or a fun dinner!

It was really busy but the wait wasn’t long at all. You order and pay with the digital menu online so it’s really convenient. I highly recommend the happy hour! Really authentic flavors and if you’re craving Japanese comfort food, chances are they will have it on their menu. Delicious!
