Great local place! First time here. Ample portions. Had a steak and cheese omelet, dining companion had a meat lovers omelet. Both were outstanding. Service on point. Definitely will return!

Cute little diner. Mediocre food, didn’t listen to simple requests. They’re not super friendly there, they cater mainly to their regulars, it seems. Not a bad place for a cheap, simple breakfast/lunch on a budget though.

I have never heard of being charged extra automatically to use a credit card to pay for the meal. The very least is to let us know in advanced before you swipe the card, maybe we want to pay in cash instead. I feel like they did it on purpose so they get more tip, HOW SHADY of a business. I know it’s tough times, but come on.

A classic greasy spoon able to accommodate Gluten free! I great place to meet colleagues over coffee. I love it.

ordered takeout from here online, order never went through. had to order again when we got down there. they were wicked busy and short staffed, so we didn’t ask for the home fries to be extra crispy but the food came out quickly and it’s reasonably priced.

Overall, an okay experience. I arrived at the rush according to my server (M), though I think she just said that because she felt bad that another server (C) took my order and delivered my food. I like a variety, so I ordered the Lumberjack. The bacon and rye toast were good, the eggs were okay, a bit too undercooked. The sausage seemed like the frozen variety as opposed to fresh links. The chocolate chip pancakes were very good in taste and texture, but they suffered from the common problem of the cool putting all of the chips in the middle instead of spreading them out over the pancake. The home fries were not good. Just not good. Soggy and mushy. I think there may have been a yam spliced in there as well because I got a surprising flavor from one of my bites. The restaurant itself was decent. A bit cramped, but in a cozy, familiar way reminiscent of when people were more social with each other. There was the token older waitress with grey hair who you can tell has been there for a long time and God bless her for her heartwarming smile that makes you believe everything will be alright. It could have been a little cleaner but considering it was the rush and the place was packed you can’t really be upset with them while they’re running around with orders. I would say the biggest issue, which definitely contributed to a lost star, was my waitress with the nose ring who blatantly picked her nose numerous times for all the world to see. We all do it sometimes, but while you’re serving food is the wrong time. My ginger ale had a strong taste of old tap-water ice, and was nearly flat. The bathroom was very clean. Like, much cleaner than you’d expect at a diner. Carli and good bacon saved this review.
