We stopped In while doing some floatplane training. Great seafood, generous portions (couldn’t finish our fried shrimp order) and nice folks. We visited with the owners and let them know we will be back every Friday.

I have been twice now…..I wanted to make sure the first bad experience was not just a bad day for the restaurant…but my second time there was just as disappointing as the first. Both trips totaling $320 for food that has been hyped up( on their own Facebook page)…….just to be let down. The first trip the egg was so hard it literally could be used as a bouncy ball….and every “plate” was mostly potato….the sausage is obviously HILL COUNTRY FARE brand sausage And small crab clusters nothing like what we’re shown on video. Second trip the potato (STILL BEING THE MAJORITY of what i paid for)…was so under cooked it was still hard, the fried lobster and shrimp was so over cooked that it was hard and dried out….like jerky….the crab clusters had been in the steamer all day or something because the shell was bendy and rubbery and most of the crab wouldn’t even come out…the corn was so over done it was basically dehydrated….the fried fish was the cheapest …either COD or Alaskan polluck…..(like long john silver only a different style crust) and yes still the hill country fare sausage….when we asked for some lemon wedge and butter sauce for the jerky lobster and shrimp….we were given CONCENTRATED LEMON JUICE straight from a bottle…..i can’t believe they try to charge people for the bottled sodas after that kind of money is being spent on such poor quality seafood…..THEY WONT BE GETTING ANYMORE OF MY MONEY nor anyone’s I know if I can help it.

This place is a joke when it comes to service… the attitude of this place is horrible!! If you want to feel like a bother to the kitchen when you place your order you’d be at the right place. We received our food over an HOUR after placing our order. When they make a mistake no worries it’s another hour for them to fix the issue. 1-star for service isn’t low enough!

First off they need a sign telling where the entrance is located. Hushpuppies were awesome but give me more please. Fried fish was good. Fried shrimp was OK. My steamed lobster was tough, was overcooked. Steamed shrimp was mushy, yuck! Beautiful location and friendly folks. I wish them luck.

We ate here last night and the food was amazing. Employees were very friendly and accommodating. The food desert of Buchanan Dam/Tow area needed a place like this and we will definitely be frequenting. Looking forward to taking the boat here during the summer. Perfect location on the lake with a wonderful view!
