The food was really good. I just wished the temperature was warmer. I had oxtails, white rice, cabbage, and yams. The tropical tea was very flavorful! I wanted curry goat (it was on their menu), but it was not one of today’s meats per the server. I would love to come back and try that.

My go-to comfort food! Curry chicken is amazing, so is the jerk chicken and meatloaf! Plus the best yams in town. I usually go around lunch and the portion is so large I save half and eat it later. And don’t let me forget about that coco bread.. I don’t leave without one! A full meal with 2 sides, a drink, & coco bread is only around $20. I’ll gladly pay that for food that’s ALWAYS good. These other reviews sound like a bunch of Karen’s. Thanks kreole staff for always being kind 🙂

Some of the best fried plantains I’ve had in Savannah.

Not very good, ordered a pork chop sandwich. Bone still in pork chop and grizzly, it was on 2 pieces of regular white bread toasted just a little bit. No seasoning, I could have made better at home. My husband ordered philly cheesesteak, it was ok, nothing special either. I thought with Kajun in the name there would be some flavor. Staff not friendly. Just passing through Savannah and would not stop again.

Let me start out by saying. Easter Sunday!!!! Spent 25+ dollars on 5 cold oxtails!! Watered down gravy. Other customers complaining of lack of food on the plate for the amount of money they are charging!!! Will now continue to visit “SWEET SPICE 515 WATER AVE!!!! STICKING WITH THEM!!!

Small portions of food. Not worth the money. For a meal and a drink that almost brings you to $30.00. Never again. However, their tea and sweet potato pie is delicious.

Had the pleasure of experiencing Kreole Kitchen food today. I purchased two plates. One I ate at the restaurant and the other I brought home for later. I highly recommend the Ox Tails and I chose the Curry Chicken as my second meal this evening. Support this business because DJ the owner is conscientious about the quality of food and customer experience. They are located at 1800 East Victory Drive in Savannah.

I’m not the type of person to leave bad reviews because I want everyone’s business to strive. This is my opinion so you can try it for yourself. I’ve never had kreole food before let me start by saying that. But since it said soul food with a Caribbean twist my expectations were that it would taste similar to Jamaican food. I’ve had Jamaican food from multiple places and it was phenomenal. The patty at this place was good it was well seasoned and crispy; we got the spicy and curry patty. The coco bread was fresh and slightly burnt, it did not have that sweetness to it as coco bread should. The rice and peas was not seasoned well it was flavorless, even if it had some flavor it was covered in the gravy the rice grains were swimming. The oxtail was not tender and the flavor was off. The cabbage was not good either virtually no season. My husband got the curry chicken, same as the oxtail the flavor was off. The yams were okay according to my husband. As with previous reviews the portion was small for the price. If I do go back the only thing I’m ordering is the patty.
