Another halal hot chicken sandwich joint that tries to set itself apart by also offering traditional fried chicken, chicken nuggets, and wings. I’ll start off by saying that the wings were solid. Large portions with good flavoring. The batter, though, left something to be desired as my wings and fried sandwich tasted soft and bready as opposed to crispy/crunchy. I especially enjoyed the sweet & spicy (their term for BBQ) wings. The hot chicken sandwich however… was not it. In the pantheon of halal hot chicken sandwich places in Southern California, this one unfortunately scores near the bottom in terms of pure taste. I ended my meal feeling as if I just ate a bunch of fried, oily food. Fries were also average to below average. Alhumdulillah, a decent meal overall, but I wouldn’t really come back here voluntarily.

We ordered the spicy and medium fried chicken (krispy leg and thigh). At first we were kinda surprised because the medium chicken I believe had the cajun seasoning so it looked spicier but it didn’t taste spicy at all. The fried chicken that looked plain was actually the spicy one! So now when you order both you can differentiate between these two.. you’re welcome 🙂 Jokes aside the chicken was SO GOOD it had so much flavor (and potential ) it was the juiciest fried chicken I’ve tried in California! I’ve tried a lot of fried chicken here, mind you. I would highly recommend anyone visiting Irvine city! Bonus thing for all fellow muslims is that it’s also zabiha HALAL! (hand slaughtered)

During my visit, I ordered a Krispi Sandwich, Krispi Loaded Fries, Kreami Coleslaw, and a can of soda. The food is made to order so it’s going to be hot and fresh when served. You can also choose the spice level for your chicken tenders. I went with Extra Hot and it was almost too much for me lol but I really enjoyed it and will definitely go back. (Note: Krispi’s comped my meal. This was not discussed prior to my visit nor was it a requirement for my visit.)

Excellent fried chicken sandwich shop. I believe it is Korean fried chicken but not sure. Either way the food here is delicious and the portions are generous. The spice level is high so be sure to order accordingly. I absolutely loved the sandwich. The chicken is so juicy and tender and the crunch is great. The fries were also amazing. Very quick and friendly service. EDIT: I believe they are under new management but the quality and service remains amazing, possibly better.

I ordered the nuggets and was charged 18 dollars for 10 nuggets. I was fine to pay it as it was a small local business starting out. I got my order and the nuggets were equal to the quality Burger King nuggets. It’s obvious that they were either from a freezer bag or possibly directly bought from Burger King. The cook was timely in getting the food out and the cashier was incredibly kind, but the food is just horrible. The staff was understanding and kind and helped me get a refund. We also ordered a crispy chicken sandwich that was also the same quality of food as Burger King.

Everything was exceptional. I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich and loaded fries to go. The portions were very generous and it was more than I could finish. The fries had really good coleslaw, dressing, and tender pieces. The texture was also crunchy the way I like it. The chicken sandwich was large and succulent with pickles coleslaw and enticing heat. The food took almost 30 minutes to get ready but I dont mind since the end result was very satisfying for my belly.
