Ok, it’s a brewery yet So Much More!! The food is great and the staff is friendly. Extra bonus yet have local Texas wines if you are not feeling like a beer. The Ruben sandwich is loaded with meat, and the Mushroom burger is filled with tasty mushrooms on homemade bread. This place is totally worth the stop! Great beer, amazing food, and cool people!

Came in for an early lunch and grabbed a few beers! I really loved the atmosphere. If we lived closer, I’d definitely make it a regular stop. I will be bringing my boyfriend back. It has a pool room with several pool tables. The area we sat looks like they have music sometimes and the front bar area was very cozy. The wait staff was friendly, the service was fast and I enjoyed the food. We had the onion rings. My son had a sandwich and I had some grilled fajita style chicken with mushrooms and peppers. Both beers that I had were tasty! I’ll definitely go back.

Was looking for a dog-friendly dining place locally (we’re from Whitesboro) and someone mentioned Krootz. We decided to bring Powder along for our weekly date night to try it out. Man, the staff and everyone here was sooo welcoming to Powder. He got all the attention! They even brought him his own dog bowl for water and dog treats! Will definitely be back!! Kenya was absolutely amazing and took great joy in spoiling Powder.

This was a great find. We enjoyed the layout a d look of the place very much. You can simply come here lounge and relax like a coffee shop but beer instead. I’m not a beer drinking but I was told by the person I was with that the beer was very good. I can personally say the bacon marmalade pizza and honey garlic wings where fabulous. Onions rings were thick and seasoned not just plain oil and batter. Who knew that a brewery could offer up such delicious food, not just small apps/finger food but a full on meal. This place is a must try and has been added to the list

My daughter and I were enjoying a 5 hour drive to our destination knowing we would surely find an interesting place to eat in one of the small towns along the way. Well, Gainesville may not be all that small but we did find a great place to eat! The sign for “Krootz Brewing Company” led us to an unassuming building where we found great food. Apparently, they have specialty days as well as offering sports viewing on TV but, fortunately, the scene was rather reserved during our visit.

You must eat here! Everything here is made in house. Not just the beer and soft shine, but all the incredible food! We had pizza, fries, and onion rings. Be sure to save room for the pecan pie and get the beer ice cream. You will never be satisfied with any other pecan pie after this one! Chad the owner introduced himself and told us his story. He’s a man who’s following his passion for outstanding drinks and food. The whole staff was friendly and delivered great customer service, which is rare these days! If I lived nearby, I would enjoy this food and beer everyday! Keep up the good work Krootz Team!

I come here pretty consistently. The beer is great all around, the food is fantastic, the staff is always great. All around perfect. Also kid friendly (during the day), work friendly, and dog friendly. Should have written a review much sooner!
