Wow! Must try!! Love that these guys are so successful considering their deli is inside of a gas station. Normally I would never give it a thought, but after reading reviews I knew we had to try their food. The sandwiches were amazing. The club was huge. Fresh ingredients and great bread. Quality meats, and the tomatoes looked and tasted freshly picked off the vine. The brisket sandwich was incredible. Gouda melted on brisket that literally melted in your mouth. Amazing. The portions are massive, I ate half and was stuffed. Any time we are in a road trip that requires passing by Krossroads Kitchen, we will stop for sure! The two chefs are great! Very personable and friendly. I wish them continued success!!

Wow! I literally just had the best BLT I’ve ever had in my life! The sandwich was made to absolute perfection. These guys are incredibly passionate about the food that they prepare. Nothing but quality fresh ingredients served up by friendly guys. Mike and Johny go above and beyond to make sure you’re more than satisfied! Don’t be turned away by the gas station. This place is a hidden mountain gem. Highly recommend and will be leaving here every chance I get!

We stopped in on our way to Charleston and it was so delicious and fresh made to order! Will definitely be back if I come through Columbus. Super friendly staff and amazing service. Got the TABLE wrap with tots and fruit and my husband and I shared an order of strawberry chocolate chip muffins. So good!

Holy cow this hidden gem is hands down AMAZING. My wife and I have been dying to try this place for there breakfast burrito. You can choose your meat we definitely went with chorizo. And beyond our belief best breakfast burrito ever. The chorizo AMAZING no fatty gritty taste top of the line. We also got the blat sandwich also great. But the biggest shocker was ordering the side fruit cup. I was definitely shocked to see the guys in the back cutting fresh fruit. You Don’t get that anymore with alot of places. Hands down a must try we will definitely be back great food great service great attitudes

Note we used Google to find it and it’s inside the gas station. Do not let that deter you or you’ll miss out. We had the brisket sandwich, potato salad and slaw. It was fantastic. I think the brisket was the most tender I’ve ever had. Highly recommend this place. If you skip it you missed out. Also super friendly and attentive service.

Potato salad was solid and my club was huge!! Was just rolling through town and I am glad I stopped at this gas station! The herb Mayo was great and I would highly recommend the crinkle cut fries! Definitely give them a try I know the thoughts on gas station food but this place was amazing!

Flat out the best hidden gem breakfast and lunch joint in the area…maybe even the region. Two talented chefs working out of, of all places, a roadside gas station, serving up some of the most inventive and creative grub ever to tease your tastebuds. If you’re traveling the I 26 corridor to or from the mountains be sure to take a detour to the picturesque little town of Columbus, NC and stop at the Vgo gas station and let Johnny and Michael work their culinary magic. Your mouth will thank you.

I’ve known the co-owner, Johnny, for a long long time! Super great guy! I have the Blue Ridge Bomber and a muffin! Everything I had today was awesome! He calls it quick food, but you can tell there’s a ton of time and effort put into that brisket on the bomber! Even the fries were amazing!! Can’t wait to come back again!
