Definitely an interesting find. We saw this place on Maps and had to try it for ourselves. I ordered the Shrimp and Tofu Pad Thai (one of the Chef’s specials), and was not disappointed. Everything we ordered tasted amazing, and the service was very quick!

I don’t usually do reviews but I just wanted express how great the food is here. I was looking to try some new cuisine and this restaurant popped up on Google. I hadn’t heard of it and decided to give it a go. I have been going about once a week since that initial visit. I have eaten both the Pad Thai and the Red Curry. They were equally amazing. The Pad Thai is sweet and a little spicy while the Red Curry has a very unique flavor which might surprise you at first. But once you get that first taste it’s hard to stop. I haven’t tried their other meals yet but I’m sure you can’t go wrong with whatever you choose. The staff are very friendly, wait times are short, and you get very large portions for about $10. I highly recommend this restaurant. And I will be coming back frequently.

I’m not sure where to even start here. Well, let me mention this. For a place to have food that tastes so good, I wonder why it only opens from 5p-9p and why it’s located in the near abandoned Northwood mall which mainly consists of businesses that close AT 5!

One of the most pleasantly unexpected, but delicious, dining experiences I’ve ever had! Unless you work in the offices nearby, you will probably have never heard of Krua Thai. It is located inside the food court of the strip mall with the Tallahassee Ballet and has one sign outside to help you find the place, so, if you feel lost, you’re definitely in the right place. Once you find the place, you will be greeted by the super friendly staff. But the food is the best part, as it should be. Don’t expect a fine dining experience as a take-out place, but everything was well cooked, well priced, and tasty. I look forward to many more visits, especially since it is so close by!

Great hidden gem in the old Northwood mall. It’s open from 5 to 9 each evening, after the state office workers have gone home. Their pad Thai is to die for. This will become my go to place as it has great prices, pleasant service and great food. The ambience is lacking but everything else is on point, so who cares.

So glad we found this little gem! Rice noodles cooked exactly as I asked (which was in between mild and medium because I’m weird)… This is great food! Best noodles I’ve ever had! Can’t wait to go back!!!!!!! The owners were super friendly too. Not sure why we hadn’t heard about this place before now. We will be back.

Had really great Thai food last night at Krua Thai. Had their red curry with chicken and it was excellent with very fresh ingredients and crunchy vegetables (I hate overcooked Thai food). Wife had pad thai that was some of the best we have had, also freshly prepared. Its a little out of the way in the Northwood Plaza, but well worth efort of dining there. It is counter service with seating indoors in the enclosed north end of Northwood.

Delicious. I can’t say enough how amazing the food here is. The owners are really nice and friendly. I almost didn’t go in and I’m really glad I did. Fantastic. I had the green curry and Thai fried rice, both veggie.
