I do believe that this is my favorite restaurant in our Chinatown. The atmosphere is elegant, but not stuffy. The service was very good, very efficient. And the food… excellent. Don’t skip over the appetizers, especially not at Happy Hour. I ordered the salmon carpaccio and the crab cake in curry. Superb! The Pad Thai and Basil were also really good. Everything was fresh and delicious.

I’m sad to be writing this review. I’ve visited Krung Siam several times in the past and I considered it to be one of my favorite restaurants in Las Vegas. But after this last visit, I doubt I will be returning. First we started with the crying tiger steak. We asked for it medium rare. The steak came out cold, basically raw with no sear whatsoever. It was also very fatty. We asked to have it cooked a little longer and to our surprise they brought us an entirely new one. So that was nice. The second one was cooked better but still had too many large pieces of fat. Next we ordered the short rib Massaman curry and the yellow curry with chicken. We asked for both to be medium spicy. The yellow curry was way too spicy and the Massaman had almost no spice. The Massaman curry didn’t come with any potatoes, and the short ribs were 60% fat! Literally just a fatty piece of meat thrown in a dirty bowl that had a small hair on it! I was extremely disappointed with the presentation and attention to detail for a $40 dish! Then to make matters worse, my boyfriend had a severe allergic reaction to the curry because it contained peanuts that we weren’t aware of. While I agree it’s our fault for not making the allergy known at the time we ordered, but we had just got back from a trip to Thailand where we both enjoyed Massaman curry many times with no problems. When we alerted staff to the situation, they basically told us we should have known because the dish always contains peanuts. Needless to say we had to leave immediately and attend to his health as his throat was closing up. So we paid over $100 for a mediocre meal with only a few bites taken out. I really hope the staff reconsiders their level of attention to detail, as the overall quality has definitely declined over the years.

We are Visiting from out of state, this place was recommended by a local. We love Thai food and this was delicious. We got the Drunken Noodles, Chicken Fried Rice & Panang Curry Chicken I chose spice level spicy but it was a medium but we got the spicy which I spices up everything.

My hubby and I come here because the food, the drinks, the service and the atmosphere are simply great but we were lucky enough to experience Chef Zy’s new tapas menu at half price! This menu was D.E.L.I.C.I.O.U.S.!! We ordered SEVERAL items and we were blown away. The dishes were flavorful, with color, texture and presentation as well a being unbelievably inexpensive. We also tried some of their cocktails and our experience left us full, satiated, gratified and elated! We spoke directly to Chef Zy and I found him to be personable, friendly and I admired his desire for artistry and perfection in his dishes. What we ate would have cost 4 times as much on the strip because his food is DEFINITELY 5 STARS! You will love your meal here and have to try it if you haven’t already. I’m a loyal fan and every time we visit Vegas, Kyung Siam is on our list consistently. Thank you to all the staff, you make our evening go from good to amazing! Sending you love and gratitude. P.S. We took pictures of everything we ate and the menus and the bill. See below! Can’t wait to go again, my mouth is watering just posting this!

Food was great. Pork belly was really good. Too bad the service didn’t stay on par with the price of the food. Would’ve been nice to been offered a refill before finishing our meals. Especially on a slow late night. Oh well

I love new dish style but same taste of Thai food. Highly recommended Thai salads with ribeyes beef. Crab fried rice is the best.

It looked good, it felt good, great presentation, first bites were full of flavor and eating joy (lol). Just 5 minutes in the whole dish was cold due to the cold dish. Flavor reduced, bite fun reduced, just disappointing. The tofu was pre-cooked, warm on the outside, cold inside. TomYum, fine.
