My husband and I were craving for home cook Filipino food today. So, we decided to go to Kubo and eat there for lunch. Got there and ordered not just dine-in food but also take out food for our dinner. We ordered quite a lot of varieties of food from what they have on their menu and they have quite a bit of choices. Food was excellent, truly home cook taste. We even ordered desserts -halo-halo and leche flan. Had to bring the desserts home as we were too full. I had rated the atmosphere as 4-stars instead of 5 more because we would have love more space inside for sitting down or dine in. They have plan to expand in the future for more tables for people who would like to dine in, which would be great! But, the atmosphere is very clean and reminded us of home. Service was superb. The owner was very friendly and explain to us about their food and how they make them to make every food taste like home cook food. We will be going back in the near and far future.

While on our Westcoast roadtrip, we stopped by this Filipino restaurant in Oregon I googled online while on the way to Yellowstone, I can say that it’s one of the best authentic Filipino food outside home I had eaten in a while. The foods are delicious. I ordered beef sinigang, dinuguan (both comes with a rice), and pancit bihon. My bf and his nephew ordered chicken barbecue that comes with rice, spring rolls, and atsara. They like the foods considering they’re not Filipinos.

Kubo is the place for authentic Filipino food. I’ve tried some of their dishes and my favorite is their pork barbeque and pancit (rice noodle dish). Today they introduced chicken inasal and it’s so delicious! If you want to try Filipino food, this is it. The place is clean and the owner is friendly and if you can’t decide what to try they can recommend or suggest.

Best Filipino restaurant we’ve come across and it’s hard to find delicious, authentic Filipino food. The man serving us I assume was the owner because he put so much care in making sure we were enjoying everything. Highly recommend!!

Delicious filipino foods! Can’t wait to try the rest of their menu. The best Lechon around Vancouver and Portland area.

Delicious! First time having Filipino food. It was amazing. The spring rolls were the best I’ve ever eaten! They have a couple of vegan options but no gluten free option. This is a small restaurant with no indoor seating so plan to eat at the nearby outdoor (some covered and heated) tables or take out. Friendly staff and very clean. I’m so happy I tried this place and will definitely be going back!

I love this restaurant for some traditional Filipino food close to home! Wonderful dishes and side options, my only complain would be the restaurant is a bit small but you can easily sit outside. Plenty of parking, and a nice location!

I came to visit Portland to explore wonderful Food Experience. Stopped at Bethany Village to Eat at this “Kubo”. I had tried their Adobo and their soup [Sinampalukang Manok], ofcourse served with rice. Food was delicious, served hot, generous portions. Kubo has variety of Desserts if you’re craving for one. Recommended to buy and to-go their Leche Flan/ Creme Caramel Flan; Staff there was kind & welcoming & helpful with recommendations if you’re not familiar with its menu; Great Service overall! Would definitely to come back.

Kubo is an authentic Filipino comfort food hole-in-a-wall at the suburbs of Beaverton, Oregon. Called in before coming down to inquire about dining in. They have 2 tables right next to each other that could seat 4 people each. Kuya Rex was very knowledgeable about Filipino cuisine and he is very hospitable! We ordered the Lechon Kawali (by the pound) and it never disappoint! The skin melts in your mouth and the sarsa was on point! Lumpia and chicken bbq was great choice as well! I think the atchara was a great touch to their BBQ dishes! Will come back to try the rest of the menu but all in all, we had a great experience! This joint is highly recommended!
