I ordered for pick up, and I was very disappointed. I got the dinner chicken hibachi which cost $22. Kumi gave me old food. The salad was brown. The salad dressing was old (oil on top). The sauce to dip was still cold and frozen in the middle. The shrimp tasted like it was microwaved. Chicken tasted old. Rice taste old. For $22 i check food to be fresh. Very dissatisfied.

We love sushi and were looking for a new place but ended up at kumi sushi. The all you can eat was 28.99 per person, This was absolutely the worse sushi I have ever eaten, Being a person that eats sushi very often found this place as being an insult to the Japenese cuisine. Don’t go here, Ever! The food did not have a fresh taste.

Food was fresh, but unfortunately, wasn’t very flavorful. The Mongolian Beef was loaded with 70% onions and 30% meat which was very disappointing. The food arrived one at a time, I felt as though they completely forgot the sushi as it took over 5 minutes from the beef to arrive.

The food was pretty good. The rolls I ordered were delicious. I ordered the Volcano Roll (which I originally thought it was the piled on sushi roll kind, but I guess that’s the Super Volcano Roll), and the Crazy Salmon Roll. I also ordered the scallops sashimi, which were decent. They had a slight fishy taste to them, but the salmon sashimi was delicious. For dessert, I tried the egg pudding and it was surprisingly good! It had some sweet red beans on top of the pudding to provide a nice texture compliment to the smooth pudding. The presentation on it was bland though. I do wish they presented it as nicely as they do for their sushi rolls. It was just placed in a plastic bowl which was underwhelming after the beautiful presentation of the main dish. The service was nice and not too busy. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, which is perfect after a long flight.
