Excellent restaurant that has several different Asian cuisines. The major one is Japanese and they serve sushi, sasami and bento boxes with brown rice if asked (extra charge.) A bit Americanized, but still very good. Service is outstanding.

Kumo is one of our favorite sushi restaurants. The sashimi is fresh, and the sushi is delicious. The services are fast. The last time we dined in was before COVID. Today, we decided to eat in instead of take out for lunch. A new crew of waitresses is running the place. Our waitress was fast and didn’t even ask if I was done with my hot and sour soup before she took it away when it was half empty. Kumo is the only restaurant in the NOVA that knows how to cook this delicious hot and sour soup. I didn’t take stars or tips away because of this incident. I would still recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice sushi place.

I ordered the Hibachi chicken and fried rice. I was extremely disappointed. The chicken was okay, salty but not dry. However, the fried rice was HORRIBLE. It was barely fried.. more like white rice with grease honestly.

The food was good and the service was great . It was my husband’s dish that not great, he ordered a hunnan triple meat and shrimp, the description had bell peppers and chilies. But none to be found. Though they gave us free snack and my granddaughter got a free ice cream for dessert. Thank you
