This place is absolutely fantastic. It was a bit pricey, but they feed the heck out of you, so it totally makes up for it. The service was fast and friendly, and our server even helped us order something because we’ve never been there before. Everything tasted great and had a lot of flavor. Every single bit of it came out fast and we ordered quite a bit of food. So far I would say it’s the Best in Beckley! My daughter and I ordered Bento Boxes .. you won’t need any extras and they are way to good!! I recommend those if you want to leave fat and happy!!

Was a really great experience! The food was great, my husband got a hibachi plate and said the steak was amazing, I got a spicy sushi roll which was huggee and so good. Our server was also really attentive and so sweet.

I miss the more private dining spaces of Kimono as the tables here feel way too close together. Our server did forget about us quite a few times my first time here, but it didn’t ruin the experience. The food is absolutely amazing, and they have a large sushi menu with something for everyone. My favorite is the Rhododendron Roll! I have already eaten inside twice and ordered takeout a few times. Good food is hard to find, and this is my favorite restaurant in Beckley!

Food was delicious but somebody didn’t prepare my sushi correctly. Within several hours I became very very sick off of eating here. The sushi was delicious but had no idea it would make me as sick as I got. No hate against the restaurant but they need to train their staff better on prepping meat. Either that or not serve food even a day past its use date or of looking bad quality. It’s a health and safety problem that should be fixed ASAP to keep others safe. Their miso soup was 10/10 though…. nice staff. Just wish I didn’t get so sick. My rhododendron roll was really good until it made me sick.

Food was great really great service. People on here complaining about the sushi being papared wrong making them sick within a few hours are wrong. It takes days to feel the effects so don’t listen to them. The sushi was amazing.

I’m a server so I don’t usually write reviews like this. We came at a pretty busy time and got seated promptly and got our food and drinks at a reasonable time. After that was when it went downhill. The food was okay at best and by the time we were ready for the check there was barely anyone in the restaurant, yet we waited a good 15-20 minutes to receive it even though we had all our plates stacked up in the middle of the table. Not the biggest deal, but we did see our poor waitress running around like a chicken with her head cut off while two waitresses were sitting down doing nothing. Normally I totally support servers sitting down as I know I take a break whenever possible, but I can’t imagine ever sitting down when a customer needs something or a coworker is struggling. Maybe they didn’t see us or notice, but it did leave a bad taste in my mouth regardless. The tiramisu is delicious though!

It’s beautiful and open inside, The staff was very kind, food was delicious. We went before the grand opening and we were sad that they didn’t have all their food options yet like the ramen or dessert. But they will be getting it soon and we will definitely be back! I had the chicken fried rice and I’ve never had it as sweet or creamy as that before but it wasn’t bad! The gyoza was VERY good. So excited for this place, We think it will do well!
