We went here to celebrate our 20th anniversary, as the hubby knew I have been dieing to try real hotpot. I could not have been more impressed with the food or the service. We were treated very well, and were even offered help with creating various dipping sauces to go with our meal. The atmosphere was very pleasant & the cost was extremely low for such ingredients & service. We ordered one hotpot combination (pork, beef, & seafood) meal with an extra pot of base broth and one roll of sushi (plus one order of cold sake & a doctor pepper)… the meal was more than enough to feed us both & the total was only $56. We will definitely be coming here again. Outstanding service and delicious food!!

My first time here with friends. The hotpot was absolutely wonderful. They have conveyor belt which you can get ready made sushi. We were told they are famous for their hotpot here. I ordered the hot spice broth with seafood. It was not spicy at all which isn’t a big deal since they have a sauce bar that I can get the spicy oil myself. The flavor of the broth was spot on. The broth was very flavorful and so delicious. The broth was so good that I burned my tongue. To be honest, the broth was so good that I didn’t put my seafood in there. I ate the broth mostly with vegetable. I would totally come back here again. Thank you Kun Rolling hotpot for a wonderful dinner. We’ll see you next time.

I came back to my hometown here in Plano after a year, and I saw a large grand opening sign that led me right into this restaurant on Thanksgiving. I am a sushi/ sashimi food addict and I have to say this was one of the best places in this area. Not only the quality of the food was fantastic, the pricing and PORTIONS were OP. I also go to (way too many) hot pot restaurants and you know when the food is legit when sauce is not needed. The broth is right on the spot in terms of flavor-fullness without being too overwhelming, salty or bland. I think the prices were determined to have customers try both the sushi bar and hot pot during their meals – the prices are very generous

AYCE hotpot and conveyor belt sushi for $33 lunch. Price seems OK until u are told AYCE is only for the rolls. U get one serving of hotpot and you can choose beef, seafood, pork or mix. So very different from the other shabu2 places around DFW. But you do get the sushi rolls. I did help myself to quite a large selection. Servers are attentive, sauce selection is generous. The sushi rolls were just OK. Not spectacular but not too bad either. They had this cucumber roll which was really good and the owner kept asking me for selections from the menu that they can make and place on the belt.

My wife and I and our pre-teen boy came here tonight 9/3/23 hoping for a nice hot pot dinner pre-Labor Day. We usually go to Gogiya in Plano, and we are regulars there but it was unfortunately closed tonight. We decided to give KUN a try for the very first time. It was quite empty tonight. My wife ordered the seafood hot pot and I got the beef hot pot.

Absolutely amazing food and great service! The owner is such a sweetheart and goes out of his way to give every single person at the table a good experience. The food is phenomenal, I had the best tuna roll of my life and my sister couldn’t get enough of the hot pot. We were soooo full by the end of it! Also, loved his music choice. We were eating and grooving to our hearts’ content!

Amazing shabu shabu and sushi. It was my first time eating shabu shabu so the owner guided us through the process in the most hospitable manner possible. The meat was amazing and will definitely be back!

Amazing spot. Haven’t found a better hot pot place! Ingredients are always insanely fresh and the service is so good. The owner is so kind and always offers us some extra free goodies like dumplings or a few rolls of sushi! Definitely a hole in the wall hidden gem in Plano! I go several times a month and it’s never been a miss! Highly recommend this place food is good, service is good, and the price is great!!

We made reservations for my son’s birthday at noon. We get there and are the only ones there I guess that should of been out first red flag. My son ordered the all you can eat and everyone else ordered a well. Then the owner comes back and tells us that he can’t order all you can eat unless everyone at the table orders the all you can eat bc he is afraid we will cheat him and we would all eat from my son’s even though we all ordered something else. And the revolving sushi only had like 2 kinds to choose from. And the sauce bar was practically empty even though they had just opened and should of been full. The food was nothing to right home about. When your accused of being cheats right off the bat should of told us something as well. Do not recommend. I don’t usually do this. Actually I have never done this but if I can help someone else. So be it.

Absolutely delicious, got complimentary sushi out the gate, as well as sashimi later, which I’m not a sashimi guy and straight up don’t like tuna but what he brought tasted almost like steak . Had some dragon, pheonix and smoked salmon all great. But the biggest stand out was the house soup! Tasted like a miso with that soul envigoration amped to 12.
