incredible food, great service, and awesome location. stopped by this little restaurant after a comedy show down the road. they were able to seat my party of 2 right away. We ordered the pan fried duck buns, pork soup dumplings, scallion pancakes, and the house special stir fried hand cut noodles. everything is absolutely cooked to perfection and delicious I highly recommend. The Buns were outstanding. The deep fried Chinese carrot dumplings were extremely good. The ingredients are different from what we have tasted in Canada. The standard is even higher than Vancouver and Toronto. I would recommend this tiny restaurant in Manhattan for everyone to try. If I have the chance to visit New York again, I will go there to try other dishes.

This is a Michelin Bib recognized Chinese restaurant. They don’t really do Ramen, but Chinese sliced noodle, la mian. It reminds me more of Taiwanese Beef noodle soup. The Michelin recommended dimsums and xiao long bao are excellent and don’t skimp on the ingredients. I recommend the wonton soup which has a lot of full sized wontons in a made from scratch broth with nori, cilantro and baby bok choy (I think). The receptionist was a little grouchy but I guess she was really busy but we were rushing for our play. They add a 15% service charge in lieu of a tip. Great spot.

Glad to see it opens this store midtown East, perfect for a quick work lunch. Soup dumplings and dim sum are perfect taste and authentic. The menu also offers veggies, noodles, and other main courses.

Food was good and tasty, but one star point off because it could have been a lot better if servers had been more helpful when deciding or explaining the menu. We ordered mapa tofu, eggplant in garlic sauce, and beef mala soup. We wanted to add a dum sum plate. We weren’t sure what to choose and asking questions but the server was zero helpful. We said we wanted something steamed, not fried, but after getting no help, we gambled and pick something. It was fine and tasty, but it was something like sesami ball (but taro inside), which was a dessert plate, something that we didn’t want…. Server is not just someone who just takes the order from us and relays to the kitchen. If that’s all servers do, there should be no tip. PLUS, rice is not included for the entree, so we had to order separately, which added more, so at first the price was reasonable, but it was not. For the record, we paid over $75 (including tip and taxes) for 3 people.

My friend and I stopped by for a quick bite to eat and we were not disappointed. The service was fairly quick and the food was delicious. We tried the steamed pork dumplings and the duck buns as well. Both tasted excellent. We also tried the honey green tea and that was the perfect choice of drink! I would highly recommend this place as they are attentive and quick.

Best soup dumplings I have ever had! I highly recommend this place to any visitor looking for a casual but delicious meal, and if you are a local New Yorker who has not tried this place, you are missing out! We had their scallion pancake, beef ramon with their hand made noodles, and egg rolls, everything we had was fantastic. The best and simply MUST try items by far are their dumplings and the pan fried peking duck buns, enjoy!
