The Kungfu express restaurant is definitely different from all the other local Chinese restaurants. I ordered one of their chef special the Happy family dish and I was surprised by the freshness of their ingredients. To put it in words, the shrimp was even a bit crunch like what you would expect from a shrimp cocktail! Through the meal, the waiter even brought out free appetizer samples for my kids. This would definitely be one of my top rated family style restaurants in the area!

Used to go to this place a lot as a kid and was passing by so I figured I would stop and get some food. I ordered the diced chicken and shrimp combo, young chow fried rice and beef lo mein. I had to throw all of the food away it was beyond gross. The lo mein had a bone in it, and all the meat in all the dishes was undercooked. I did come when they opened, so maybe they needed to cook the food longer but did not. I will not be returning. Staff was very nice.

I came here for dinner and ordered the beef chow fun. Usually when I order this dish from other restaurants I would add a can of soda since the it could taste quite greasy and salty, but the dish here seemed to be just about right. The noodles are cooked perfectly, the beef tastes delicious and the onions and scallions were juicy in the mouth. Next time I will try their chef specialties!

This place is a waste of money. They do not take debit or credit card for orders less than $10. The lady did not put my stiff in a bag she was handing me my food and soda without it. I asked her for a bag. I should have known it was not good when I walk in at 12:15 it was empty.The food is not typical tasting Chinese food. I recently had lunch at KungFu Golden Cove in Greenvale. I had the chicken & broccoli lunch special which came with fried rice & corn soup. The food was fresh & tasty & fairly priced. The food & quality at KungFu Express Golden Cove was Excellent. We had an office meeting and Bill delivered our food. The food was fresh & hot. Bill was so courteous & friendly. This is my new go to Chinese food place!!

I would leave zero stars if I could, I ordered over $70 worth of food for my family and everything was terrible. The soup egg rolls and chicken all tasted like they had been seasoned with dish soap and dryer sheets. Save your money, just get from sun ho in glencove
