Kura Revolving Sushi Bar is a fantastic place for sushi lovers who want to try sushi in a fun and unique way. The conveyor belt sushi experience is unlike any other, and Kura has perfected it. At just $3.50 per plate during the weekend I was there, it’s an affordable and enjoyable way to try different types of sushi. Not to mention you will get a toy every 15 plates!

Glad I finally had time to try the Tyson’s location! Having previously dined at one of their Atlanta locations, I am glad Kura is finally in the area. Inside is decently sized, they either have a counter or a booth. The booths they say can seat up to 6 but with our 4 people I doubt that would fit another 2 adults. Inside is cute and modern. This place gets busy pretty quickly and we went right when they opened. I appreciate how everything here can be self serviced. You can order your drinks and it comes on a robot. The main draw of course is you can grab the sushi on the conveyor belt. You can also order from the screen for special orders or sushi that will zip to your table.

Another 1st for me y’all (Even though I don’t like sushi ), but they did have other menu items for non-sushi eaters. It was cool to see all the choices come by on the conveyor belt (even desserts too). The robot waiter brought us our drinks (so ), Between the two of us we finished 21 plates (they charge by the plate). I will definitely come back again …

Kura revolving sushi bar is actually Kurasushi chain which originates from Japan. They even use the tech from the original stores. It’s pretty cool to watch and it looks clean at first but when I look more in detail, a bunch of things start to show up: the plates are clean but the tray is caked up in the corner for some sauce heavy dishes. All of the portions look good but once I started to pay attention, the meat portion was really thin. 85% rice 15% meat. Don’t get me wrong, I know where I’m at. If I wanted quality, I would go to a renowned sushi joint. Oh I forgot, make sure to get one thing of udon or ramen. I had beef udon and it was quite good. If I ever go back, I would get it again.

We (two people) visited right at noon on a Saturday and had to wait for a table – luckily you can sign up and then get an estimate for the wait time as well as a text for when you should head back. I would suggest going right when they open or in the late afternoon if you’d like to go on a Saturday.

I’m a very a frequent customer at Kura Sushi, and love their selections as well as the presentation. Although pricey, I believe it is worth it for how good the food is and the amount you get. Today, however, I noticed that the greeter in charge of reservations was being very rude to other customers. Some people were confused about their reservation or how the system worked, and were met with unfriendly responses. It honestly dampened the atmosphere today and I would highly suggest rethinking which staff should be placed upfront as the first person people interact with. All the other staff except for the greeter were very friendly and helpful.

Oh man, very excited about trying this place. Everything is automated. Customer service gets 5 ⭐️. They were on point. The few repeated sushi rolls I tried were very good. ** Not everything is offered a la carte. Only some items. Also, most of the items were not available on the revolving conveyor belt. Please see video. The original video is 26 seconds but I adjusted the speed to 13 seconds. This is at 5:00 PM. ** Very good experience but wish I would have tried the sushi rolls I saw offered. Very pricey. 2 people = $96

Not your everyday US sushi restaurant for sure but a fun sushi dining experience of urban Japan. It’s not your Michelin Star quality sushi but food quality seems to be well above average given the high turnover of tables and food during service hours. Super fun experience to grab things on the belt or take advantage of on demand table side touch screen to order anything on the menu (separate belt system that comes directly to any table). It has a few other quirky things like toy dispensers at each table (purchase or 1x free toy after 15 dishes) to keep it “fun.”

If you have been to a revolving sushi bar, it’s exactly what you expect. We had about everything available on the conveyor belt. Also ordered Uni and miso ramen.
