First of all, I need to say this place picked a fun name. Almost a satire of the original Korofune event in history. But the food was equally good. Eel here reserved a special mention. It’s thick, juicy, and well flavored. Fish here was fresh and tasty. The knife work for the sushi could be improved, but the taste was unparalleled. Hot sake here are also good sake. It’s flavorful but mild. Love this place.

I was surprised by the variety of sushi and sashimi in this restaurant. Salmon, tuna, octopus, squid, quail egg, yellow tail, you name it. They taste really delicious and look extremely beautiful. We ordered high-grade sashimi and chirashi. The server is very polite and nice. We sat outdoor and feel really free and cozy in a Sunday evening with all the lights on. I would strongly recommend this restaurant to my local friends.

This is a small traditionally decorated restaurant. Between the atmosphere and the photos online you are given the impression it’s going to be a premium dining experience on par with some of the better local no nonsense Japanese spots especially given the prices. It is not.

Considering steep price increases everywhere, the price for three people was pretty decent for what we considered a very generous amount of VERY fresh sushi! The food here is so good and we’re definitely coming back!!
