The owners Jun & Vener have done with this restaurant; what I have been saying for a long needed to happen for Filipino Food to go mainstream. They have created a welcoming and classy environment that has to be experienced.

Kusina Filipina in Los Angeles is a hidden gem for Filipino food lovers! I tried a dish with pork, fried egg, and rice, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich and savory, and the portion size was perfect. To wash it all down, I also tried some of their traditional sodas, and the pineapple one was my favorite!

This has been my lunch stop when I’m in the area. Hidden gem nested in a busy corner plaza, that could have better parking. But the patience is worth it. Nice hosts and an open layout with a karaoke stage for the music at heart. Everything I’ve tried so far had been delightful and takes me back home. Yum! Lots of dishes to choose from and the prices are worth every bite.

Been looking for a restaurant that served authentic Filipino food and Kusina Filipina is the place just for that. They had a lot of traditional Filipino food that is harder to find at restaurants which was exactly what we were looking for.

We were visiting from the Pasadena area and found this Filipino Restaurant that cooks and serve fresh Filipino food and to our satisfaction the food and service was absolutely perfect. Our server Marlon was excellent so as the owner Jun who even gave us a taste of their beef afritada. We ordered the Lechon Kawali, sinigang boneless milkfish, pansit canton noodles with garlic fried rice. It’s divine and we recommend this to anybody craving for authentic Filipino food.

Best filipino restaurant in the area! The authenticity and quality of the food is phenomenal. Service is excellent as well. I’m happy everytime I come here. Some nights there’s a live band performing. There’s a charming vibe to this place. Great place to take my family when we want homey comfort food. A true gem in the community for an American Filipino like myself.
